If you do not cut off life, you will not become a Buddha. If you do not block the windows, the darkness itself will not dissipate. The teacher of all Buddhas is the Yama, the King of Dharma, of hell. He leads to the three lower realms through the Dharma. By practicing evil, one obtains virtue. Looking causes one to wander in the three realms of samsara. Meditation increases afflictions and karma. Conduct leads to straying and obscurations. The result is the very cause of samsara. Furthermore, the connection of symbols, meanings, and words is explained. In the midst of the flames of the eons, even if there is one person without anger, who preaches the Tripitaka from his mouth, but in action kills the lives of others, the increase of virtuous deeds is truly amazing. If the iron house has no door, from the center of the darkness of ignorance, even if there is the bright light of the sun and moon, no one can see it, the objects of each sense are clear, but not seeing is truly amazing. Furthermore, the view of clinging to objects is explained. The basis of the three realms of samsara is emptiness, but Nirvana is swept away with a broom. Cutting off the root of ignorance and samsara, the fruits of the three bodies are uprooted. Darkness obscures the sun, opening the space of clarity is covered by darkness. Sharpening a sharp blade cannot cut through, a vast center is empty but cannot contain, gathering various things cannot find one, eliminating the thoughts of existence and non-existence. Thus it is said. Slightly explaining the key points of the Vajra words, contemplate repeatedly with the view of the Dharmadhatu, if you do not cut off the life force of samsara, which is the duality of grasping and being grasped, you cannot become a Buddha, therefore, completely cut off emptiness, making it rootless and baseless. If knowledge does not block the windows of appearance, maintaining natural, pure, and genuine nature, the darkness of samsara will not dissipate, therefore, abide in the state of self-born freedom from elaboration, without distraction. The teacher of the Buddhas of the past, present, and future, is weary of seeing the intense suffering of samsara, which is the Yama, the King of Dharma, of hell, and thus seeks liberation, first of all, cherish liberation from samsara. With the Dharma of acceptance and rejection, action, one cannot transcend samsara and the lower realms, therefore, cherish the intermediate antidote liberating in its own place. Although the afflictions that arise from strength are sins, if one recognizes the nature of self-liberation, one can purify in Dharmata, this is the virtue of abiding in the meaning of reality, ultimately cherish the repetition of cause and effect. With the view of duality, one cannot be liberated from the three realms, with the meditation of characteristics, one will accumulate the karma of the upper realms, with acceptance and rejection,

Because of actions, one cannot escape the dangers of delusion and obscuration, and because of hope and fear, the results continue in samsara. Therefore, it is crucial to realize that awareness exhausts all dharmas. Repeatedly contemplate the meaning of self-origination, becoming someone who thoroughly understands awareness. Even when dwelling in the fire of samsara, one will not be harmed. Appearances spread in all directions, and awareness also manifests freely, proclaiming the Dharma, severing the life force of all thoughts, and increasing the experience of self-originated wisdom—how marvelous! The sun and moon of awareness are originally luminous, and although all sentient beings possess them in the iron chamber of samsara and the darkness of afflictions, they cannot see them due to their own power. When the light of awareness manifests nakedly again and again at the time of the arising of the six consciousnesses, such as when memory and awareness appear in objects, it is not seen because it is not recognized. This is because the eye of self-awareness is obscured by dust. As it says in the Heap of Jewels: "The object of attachment, self and grasping, is in the nature of reality from the very beginning. All of this is self-appearance to oneself, originally appearing but never recognized." Just like that. Because what is to be abandoned recedes on its own, the antidote also recedes, this is the realm of abandoning the antidote and being primordially liberated. When the self-nature play of what is to be abandoned and its thoughts of samsara are exhausted, its antidote, the part of recognizing awareness, even nirvana does not exist, so it is like being swept away by a broom. When the root of non-recognition is cut off in awareness, the establishment of awareness as the three kayas is also primordially liberated due to non-attachment, and thus completely uprooted. The darkness of mind and mental factors does not allow the sun of wisdom to appear, when awareness opens the expanse of wisdom and manifests nakedly, the darkness of mind and mental factors dissipates, and the nature of original purity wisdom is revealed. Even if one analyzes and examines with sharp thoughts, one cannot cut off the root of self-originated wisdom, thoughts will only spread outward. The appearances of the objects of the six senses are vast, but there is no meaningful essence, because it is not truly established, so the center is empty, like a tree in water. Even if appearances gather in various directions, one cannot find the sole meaning of self-originated wisdom from the aspect of external appearances, because the inner realm of clear light has never wavered. If you want to see self-originated wisdom, stop expanding and contracting the mind towards external appearances, and look inward in the uncorrected, self-luminous state, and you will surely find it, as it says in the All-Creating King: "Extremely swift wisdom, all thoughts."
