Do not engage in any speculation or thought. Do not modify the unadulterated natural state. Whatever action is released, whatever appears, let it naturally manifest in the nature of reality. Without any thought, abiding in self-nature, it is shown that liberation is attained. Here, if not regarding the arising of movement as a fault, and the previously explained absence of conceptualization are contradictory, it is amazing. Having spoken of so many distinctions, still not understanding? How unfortunate, a great blazing of ignorance. What would happen if it were said to be a pig? However, to explain clearly, when the flow and radiance arise from the power of compassion, that flow is a thought, a mount of wind, so without following it, without looking at its face, just leave it be. By recognizing the naked, transparent awareness, maintain a clear, naked, open, and uninterrupted great clarity. These are the methods for establishing the three: essence, self-nature, and compassion. Now, from the vast expanse of the nature of reality, clearing the path, let the manner of appearance of power and play be unceasing, clearing the path into a single state of purity, equality, and transcendence of mind. Without grasping, without releasing, there is no tightening or loosening of the strings. As it is, naturally abiding, naturally grasping. In the unwavering, flat, vast, and boundless space, all thoughts and conceptions naturally arise and naturally subside. This is the vajra-being's mind of space. This is to say that if the essence of awareness is not distracted in emptiness and clarity, then even if power freely arises from it, there is no fault. This is like if a crystal ball is not dropped from the hand, even if five lights scatter in all directions, there is no contradiction. It is not like grasping the freely arising awareness with one thing, but rather to let the basis of its appearance, the clear awareness, remain clear and transparent without distraction. If one thinks that the freely flowing appearances will cause distraction, that is impossible, because the wind blows outward and awareness gathers inward. The sound returns inward, so the power dissolves into the base and is liberated, because it is not separated from the state of the clear essence, merged into a single bindu. As the Kunjed Gyalpo Tantra says: In the realm of dharma, because it is one, there is no going. Accompanied by the meaning of the essence, there is no distraction. Merged into a single bindu, there is no wandering. Therefore, the key to clearing the path is that because realization and non-realization are the nature of bondage and liberation: If one abides in the unadulterated space without distraction, then even the entry of thoughts and ideas into objects is the natural state of reality. If one deliberately adjusts with strings, then even if the nature of reality is as vast as space, there will be a veil of concepts. Even if one spends day and night meditating, it is just clinging to bondage. Contemplation

The Victorious Ones have said that (this state) is equal to the gods. Therefore, without distraction, the mind that strives diligently, holding to one's natural state, and striving to transcend the past, is extremely precious. If the key point is not understood, it is difficult to proceed on the path. Even if one meditates single-pointedly, day and night merging into one, if there is attachment to that, or clinging to the experience of bliss, clarity, and non-thought, then it is the same as the meditation of the gods, and one will not be able to transcend this cycle of existence, not even by a hair's breadth. As it says in the chapter on the gathering of sacred samādhi: "Even if samādhi is very stable, if one becomes attached to it, it is like a child playing with dirt, and one will not attain nirvāṇa." When a yogi realizes rigpa zangkar (Tibetan: རིག་པ་ཟང་ཀར།), even though knowledge from the faculties engages with objects, its essence does not stray from the state of dharmatā, and therefore does not deviate from the intention of the spontaneously accomplished dharmakāya. In the Kunje Gyalpo Tantra, it says: "In the view where thoughts dissolve in their own place, by resting naturally without distraction, there is no need to seek anything. Everything is self-arisen and self-liberated." In summary, if one teaches a deliberately focused and contrived view and meditation, it should be understood as a conditioned dharma. In the ordinary, uncontrived state, if rigpa is not realized as zangkar, and knowledge is lost in objects, it should be understood as a samsaric thought. In the state of rigpa zangthal (Tibetan: རིག་པ་ཟང་ཐལ།), without the mixture of hope and fear, clearly realizing it as zangnge, and without straying from that state, it should be understood as the non-dual intention of the Victorious Ones. As it says in that same tantra: "Alas! The essence of the teacher is the Kunje Gyalpo. In the dharmatā that is beyond meditation and thought, by abiding without thought or distraction, that is samsara itself. Searching and meditating are the paths of conceptual signs. Therefore, the Kunje Gyalpo does not teach that liberation is attained by abiding in samādhi with hope and fear. Having realized this, completely cutting the bonds of both, and abiding in the meaning of non-contradiction and equality, the intention of Kunje Gyalpo is spontaneously accomplished." Thus, the instruction is to hold the essence of non-meditation with undistracted mindfulness. Clearing away the obstacles that the essence of realization is beyond the intellect, and binding it beyond memory, thought, and distraction, is because self-arisen jñāna is without bias or partiality, and cannot be indicated as 'this,' its nature pacifies all elaboration. Therefore, abandoning all mental fabrications, train in the meaning of the great expanse that is without a basis. Because the essence of rigpa is free from the extremes of elaboration, the yogi who desires enlightenment must also
