Ah la, appearance! Like an emanation of a great magician, appearing from the very moment of appearance, never having existed, but self-arising as the very form of emptiness. The appearance of the six aggregates' objects, like a play of dreams and illusions, naturally arises in this state of awareness. From the absence of letters: Seeing is unceasing, appearing like my form. Hearing is unceasing, sounding like my voice. Smelling is unceasing, sensing like my scent. Tasting is unceasing, pursuing like my flavor. Feeling is unceasing, swift like my mind. Secret afflictions are my magical displays. Buddhas and sentient beings are my graveyards. I, the all-creating one, am the great self-illuminating appearance. At the time of the beginning when there was no appearance, the swift, discerning six consciousnesses were unceasing. Memory is unceasing, the six aggregates arise freely. Thus it is said. From the Root Wisdom: Like a dream, like an illusion, like a city of gandharvas, likewise is birth, likewise is dwelling, likewise is also destruction. Thus it is said. Now, since all dharmas are gathered into self-born wisdom, from the very moment of the arising of self-appearance, which is the appearance of clinging to outer and inner appearances, it is spread out in the great equality of non-doing. How appearances and sounds are in this great expanse, co-emergent, unwavering, Dharmakaya Bodhicitta. Primordially empty, without change or alteration, whatever appears is the nature of reality, the state of self-born wisdom. Without action or effort, bliss swirls into one space. From the moment of whatever appears, there is nothing other than the state of awareness, just as in a dream, whatever appears, there is nothing other than the state of sleep. Such awareness is primordially empty, unchanging, like the sky. Therefore, from its state, appearance is also a play of non-appearance and emptiness. Therefore, since nothing is established as self-characterized, there is no need for acceptance or rejection, hope or fear; the key point is that it is primordially manifest. Now, without further effort or hope, rest in that state of self-liberation and equality, in the great, unconditioned, natural state. As it is said in "The Lion's Roar of Perfection": The supreme essence of all-pervading, all-encompassing meaning, entering equally into objects, dissolves into the self-born state. The boundless activity of meaning, the great bliss of self-awareness, the essence of appearance, dissolves into the expanse of the body. The nature pervades all, appearing boundlessly in the expanse, stainless, self-born, free from the extremes of elaboration. The expanse, the clarity of awareness, the nature is all-pervading. Cease the act of doing and the doer.

Transcending land and region. Spontaneously accomplished, enjoying all that is ultimate. Thus it is said. In the Kun Byed (All Creating King Tantra): "Alas! Teacher of teachers, All-Creating King! In the unfabricated retinue, it was prophesied: On the unfabricated essence, the root of all dharmas, how it appears, so it is determined. If the meaning of the one nature of the essence is realized, the nature of all is gathered into the All-Creating itself." Thus, the essence of the Dharmakaya, which is without acceptance or rejection, and beyond effort, is also the self-arisen wisdom of rigpa. Its nature, self-luminous and pure, is the Sambhogakaya, without fabrication, as it is taught: The self-luminous, unmoving Sambhogakaya, whatever appears is spontaneously accomplished by its own nature. Without fabrication or alteration, spontaneously equal and vast. The self-face of rigpa, abiding in self-luminosity, is the Sambhogakaya, spontaneously arising, the great unfabricated equality, the nature of emptiness and clarity, without change. Similarly, the manner of appearance of rigpa, without interruption, primordially appears as the Nirmanakaya, from the various unmixed displays of play. The Nirmanakaya is self-arisen, the meaning of wondrous magic. Without effort, inseparable from Samantabhadra. Just as on the clear surface of a mirror, the manner of appearance appears without interruption, yet is not stained by it, so whatever the manner of appearance of rigpa appears, the essence is not stained, the power appears without interruption, this is the Nirmanakaya. The three kayas are perfected in the state of rigpa, as it is said in the Kun Byed: "The All-Creating Bodhi, from my own nature, that which is spontaneously accomplished without seeking, is the essence of all victors, the three kayas. My own nature is accomplished as the unfabricated Dharmakaya, my essence is the unfabricated Sambhogakaya, my compassion is the manifested Nirmanakaya, the three kayas. It is not a fruit accomplished by seeking, the three kayas are gathered into me, the All-Creating. All dharmas that appear, the three, nature, essence, and compassion, are unfabricated. The three kayas are taught as my suchness." And as it is said in the Yi Ge Med Pa (The Letterless Sutra): "I have the five kayas, self-arisen, the realm of dharmata is completely perfected." That is to say, when it is taught that the Dharmadhatu Kaya and wisdom, etc., are spontaneously accomplished and perfected, some who are ignorant and whose study and reflection are impure will say, "If sentient beings now have the body and wisdom of the Buddha and are perfected, that would be very good, but it is impossible," and they roar.
