The so-called mind of non-play is not the actual Bodhicitta. Therefore, it is crucial to understand the difference between these two. In the "Treasury of Dharmadhatu," it is said that what appears in the sentient world is the commentary on the second chapter. Third, the commentary on the chapter explaining the symbolic examples of Bodhicitta. Having thus explained the nature of Bodhicitta, now we explain the nature in which all dharmas are gathered into the Great Perfection within that nature. Everything is gathered into the Samantabhadra Bodhicitta. There is no dharma other than Bodhicitta, all dharmas are the nature of Bodhicitta. All dharmas arise from the state of Bodhicitta and appear in the state, just as all the container and content of the world are gathered in the state of space, and just as the taste of all jaggery is gathered in the taste of one piece of jaggery, it explains the way the essence of samsara and nirvana and the intention of all Buddhas are gathered. In the "Kunjed Gyalpo," it says: "In me, the Kunjed Gyalpo, the meaning of the intention of all Buddhas of the three times is gathered. In this nature of mine, body is gathered, speech is gathered, mind is gathered." Also, just as in the nature of the "Kunjed Gyalpo," it is explained that there is no birth. All Buddhas are unborn, therefore it is explained that the unborn Dharmata is gathered. Just as in the nature of the "Kunjed Gyalpo," there is no cessation of Dharmata. In the Dharmata of all the Buddhas mentioned above, there is no cessation. Therefore it is explained that Dharmata is gathered. Therefore, such Bodhicitta should be understood through three things: example, meaning, and reason. First, the example: the symbolic example of Bodhicitta is like space. The mind has no cause, no place of birth. It is non-abiding, inexpressible, beyond thought. It is only the limit of space that is symbolized as an example. Even the symbolic example itself cannot be said to be this, so how can there be thought and speech about the meaning of the symbolic example? This should be understood as an example of self-nature purity. Mind-nature is self-arisen wisdom, without substance and characteristics, empty and clear, free from elaboration. It cannot be specified as this or that, although it is symbolized by using space as an example, but if examined, even the space that is the symbolic example has no color, shape, or graspable aspect, therefore there is no dharma established as an example, then the meaning symbolized by that example, the purity of mind-nature itself, has no basis for establishment anywhere.
