The teaching on how to purify obscurations through key points is as follows: Although the mandala of the sun and moon in the sky is clear and bright, it is completely obscured by the essence of great clouds of non-realization, so that the nature of enlightenment, which is inherent, does not appear. When the essence of the Buddha-nature, the heart of the Sugata, the mind itself, is naturally clear like the mandala of the sun and moon, due to the power of non-realization, it arises from the power of awareness as grasping and being grasped. The order of containers and contents, encompassed by the five objects such as form, arises as the play of mind and mental events, like clouds. Although the self-nature is clear and without obscuration, it appears as if obscured, like the sun and clouds. It is because the realm of adventitious stains obscures the self-appearance of the Dharmakaya. It is taught that such a Dharmakaya, which is inherent, is made manifest by removing the adventitious stains, just as great clouds, when placed in space, clear up by themselves. Without effort, the clouds of cause and effect are separated, and in the sky, the essence of enlightenment naturally arises. Due to the gradation of faculties, the vehicles differ, and the methods of purifying stains also differ. However, here it is addressed to those with excellent faculties. The key to self-settling is that without effort, by the great natural wind, all the clouds of samsaric phenomena, the confused causes and effects, along with their habitual tendencies, are separated in space, and without abandoning, they are naturally pure. Like the sun obscured by dense clouds, it does not appear, but in the moment of cloudlessness, it appears clearly and without obscuration in the center of the sky. Likewise, the spontaneously accomplished, uncompounded Dharmakaya that is inherent, in the moment of being free from adventitious obscurations, the appearance of body and wisdom naturally arises in the self-nature. Like the undiminishing sun rising clearly, it is called the Dharmakaya with two purities, spontaneously and naturally accomplished. In the Lion's Complete Power, it says: 'If there is no tree of obscuration of appearance, wisdom is clear at the end.' So it is said. The spontaneously accomplished Dharmakaya, initially at the time of sentient beings, in the middle at the time of practicing the path, and finally at the time of becoming a Buddha, there is no good or bad in these three times. Just as when clouds obscure, slightly clear, or completely clear, the sun remains the same and does not change for better or worse. In the Ornament of the Sutras, it says: 'Suchness is in all, there is no difference between before and after.'

Me, all obscurations are purified. As it says in the Two Examinations Tantra: Sentient beings are inherently Buddhas, but they are obscured by adventitious stains. Remove those, and they are Buddhas. As it is said. The way in which one is obscured by the play arising from one's own potency is: The essence is clear like the sun in the expanse of the Dharmadhatu, the potency is like rays, all appearing without limit. When the earth and water are pervaded by heat, the essence and potency are also obscured by the play of vapor arising as clouds. From the essence itself, with impure self-potency, the play obscures the very nature of the heart essence in oneself. The illusion of appearances and existence, vessel and contents, is inconceivable. The appearance of the sun being obscured by clouds also originates from the potency of the sun. When the potency of the sun's rays strikes the earth and the ocean, the heat generates vapor, and the billowing mist condenses into clouds in the sky, thereby obscuring the sun itself. Similarly, when the self-potency of awareness stirs into the ground appearance, not recognizing it as oneself, but grasping it as self and other, from the play, the illusion appearing on the face of mind and mind appears as the vessel and contents, appearances and existence. The three of body, speech, and mind obscure the body, speech, and mind of awareness, which has always been abiding as Buddha, and because it is not visible, the illusion of the six realms is called the appearance of the deluded mind. Furthermore, it is the impure self-potency of awareness itself and its play that obscures awareness itself, as it says in the Lion's Strength Perfection Tantra: The Buddha is obscured by the Buddha himself. The wisdom of the three clear eyes is purified in its own place. Thus it is said. That which is obscured by the potency and play of awareness itself, the means of removing that is also the sun itself, as it is said: Just as the wind moves the clouds from the potency of the sun's rays, from the realization of one's own face, the play appears as an ornament. Illusion is primordially liberated, and because it is liberated in its own place, the illusion of appearance and the grasping of illusion are not abandoned, but purified in space. Gone without a trace, in the clear sky, the spontaneously accomplished sun of body and wisdom arises. It does not come from elsewhere, it is merely the purification of self-appearance. The sun is unobscured, shining naturally in the center of the sky, and that also originates from the sun itself. As the rays of light shine, the wind that clears everything moves and arises in its own place,
