Obscuration. Because there is no distinction between knowing and not knowing, intellect and objects do not obscure me. Because I do not cling to sides and factions, enemies and friends do not obscure me. Because I do not distinguish between edges and center, straying and obscuration do not obscure me. Because there is no distinction between secret and non-secret, suffering does not obscure me. Because there is no distinction between awareness and ignorance, darkness and light do not obscure me. Because the five poisons and wisdom are not distinct, grasping and thought do not obscure me. Because I do not look outward or inward, the conditions of the elements do not obscure me. Because I do not distinguish between different and many, one and many do not obscure me. Because I do not think about past and future, samsara and nirvana do not obscure me. Because I do not cling to clarity and dimness, distraction and dullness do not obscure me. Thus it is said. Moreover, because the nature of reality is inherently vast, without obscuration, transparent, and nakedly manifest. As it is said in the "String of Pearls": Self-appearance is the seed of emptiness. Vast emptiness is the seed of the wisdom body. Variety is the seed of the nature of mind, awareness. Pure, vast space is the seed of wisdom. Signs and realities are the seed of self-awareness. Appearance, self-perfected, is the seed of the expanse. Activity, wondrous, is the seed of appearance. Meditation, wondrous, is the seed of mind. View, wondrous, is the seed of the sky. Fruit, wondrous, is the seed of decisiveness. Wisdom, wondrous, is the seed of emptiness. Reality, wondrous, is the seed of play. Thought, wondrous, is the seed of knowing. Correctness, wondrous, is the seed of awareness. Thus it is said. If the meaning of this is shown in practical instructions, in the lineage of "The River of Perfected Natural Empowerment": The abiding of awareness itself is great. The way of liberation, the way of realization, the way of attainment. When abiding in the unborn realm, the way of looking, the way of placing, the way of transferring. Thus it is said. The way of realization is to realize transparently. The way of liberation is to awaken in primordial purity. The way of attainment is to attain in one's own place. These three occur at the same time. To become familiar with that state, there are three key points: to look transparently, to place decisively, to transfer to the end. The order of these has already been shown before. The key to determining the liberation of play in reality is: Variety is liberated, liberated in the single expanse. Impartiality is liberated, liberated in the spontaneously accomplished expanse. Everything is liberated, liberated in the essence expanse. All phenomena that arise in various impartial ways abide in the groundlessness of their essence, therefore, they are empty from their own ground.

That liberation is, when a yogi realizes it in this way, liberation from the bonds of the Dharma that cling to one's own mind is called the nature that dawns as the realization of appearance-emptiness and awareness-emptiness. Although the nature is like that, if it is not realized by the mind, it is useless, but if it is realized, one rejoices without abandoning it. It is accomplished without searching, and traversed without going, which is called the Dharma nature that accomplishes all meanings. As it says in the "String of Pearls": O Secret Lord Vajradhara! If you realize the meaning of samsara itself, there is no such thing as nirvana. If you realize the meaning of the five afflictions, there is no other wisdom. If you realize the meaning of suffering itself, there is no need to seek great bliss. If you fully realize the two extremes of faults, there is no need to seek great qualities. If you know the meaning of delusion itself, there is no need to seek non-deluded awareness. If you realize the meaning of the five elements themselves, the five great ones are spontaneously accomplished. If you cut off the root of ignorance itself, the body of awareness is accomplished without effort. If you know the meaning of sentient beings themselves, Buddhahood itself is found without searching. If you realize the meaning of various appearances, the light of ignorance is found without searching. If you cut off the trace of thought itself, that delusion is liberated in its own place. If you realize the meaning of emptiness appearance, the wisdom body is also spontaneously accomplished. If you see the essence of appearing objects, emptiness itself is also perfected without effort. If you realize the meaning of the purity of Dharma nature, the unborn Dharma nature goes beyond. So it is said. If you combine its meaning into practical instructions, then for whatever appears and whatever arises, by letting it rest in its own state, one should practice without straying from the state of self-arisen awareness. As it says in the "Burning Corpse Tantra": Having received empowerment that is complete in the ground without bestowing, the instruction of placing in its own place is taught. Practice without straying, free from protection and boundaries. It is the intention of abiding in one's own single place. So it is said. That is to say, the key is that at the time of whatever appears, by placing it in a state of letting be, it goes towards self-liberation. At the time of self-liberation, the essence of awareness, naked and clear, dawns as directly seen without moving from it, which is the actual practice. In "Self-Arisen Perfection" it says: At the time of understanding, there are four aspects: Letting be, self-liberation, and non-movement. So it is said. The four times are: understanding appearance as baseless, understanding knowledge as objectless, understanding awareness as supportless, and understanding Dharma exhausted as nameless. Now
