There is no body of unconfused awareness. There is no ripening of virtue or vice. There is no aim in severing life. There is no place for accumulating gatherings. There is no Buddha, nor are there sentient beings. There is no place, nor is there emptiness. There is no means, nor is there a retinue to listen. There is no realm, nor are there the three times. There is no gathering of the three times. Thus it is. Such is the intention of the nature, the pure great equanimity. It is taught that all things are of the nature of the equality of reality. In the expanse of equanimity, there is not a single thing that does not abide. One equality is all equality, the state of bodhicitta. Unborn, like space, vast and spread out. Because of the uninterrupted flow from the state of equality, awareness in the state of bodhicitta is all unborn, unceasing, and equally abiding. Therefore, there is not the slightest movement away from the intention of no coming and going. As it is said in the Kunje Gyalpo Tantra: "In this non-conceptual equality, suchness, there is not a particle of demonstration by itself to itself." And in the Sixth Expanse: "I am the unseparated, the undifferentiated appearance. That which is beyond me is my realm. Because it is not separated into actions and conduct, the three times are in equality. My realm is without basis, free from thought." That very principle, in the spontaneously accomplished vajra realm of great equality, the nature of reality is unchanging, being of one taste. Therefore, it is taught that from the beginning, awareness is endowed with the fortress of the vajra essence. The spontaneously accomplished, impartial, all-pervasive, vast fortress. Without top, bottom, or middle, the vast fortress of the primordial expanse. Impartial, all-encompassing, the fortress of the unborn dharmakaya. The unchanging, spontaneously accomplished, precious, secret fortress. Samsara and nirvana, the primordial fortress, are completely perfected as one. All is awareness, abiding from the beginning in the pure, self-arisen wisdom. Therefore, there is not even a particle of dharma that has been transformed into something else. From confusion, otherness, and the nature of happiness and suffering, completely transcending the afflictions, and the enemies of karma and ripening, without the realm of demons and wrong paths. Therefore, the principle of all dharmas being enlightened from the beginning, in the great equality of the vajra realm, is endowed with the fortress. As it is said in the Tsaldzog Tantra: "The vast bodhicitta, unchanging, without thought or speech, in the fortress, build a vajra city, which can never be destroyed, free from faults." And: "Self-awareness, the vajra, blazes everywhere, the signless vajra."

Self-appearing ablaze. Ablaze, fearless vajra, great emptiness. Subtle and coarse, stainless vajra, exceedingly ablaze. Emptiness, all-pervading, vajra crown, great. Limitless vajra, unordained, self-nature complete. Thus it is said. From the Kun Byed: The causal nature, vajra, is like a condition. Because it is unborn, it is indestructible. From the beginning, the essence is enlightenment. With the thought of seeking, the expanse is not moved. Thus it is. Such awareness itself, when combined in accordance with the Dharma with the realm of the perfectly endowed king, is the arrangement of the palace of self-originated essence on the ground of the Dharmata expanse: On the ground of the directionless, all-pervading expanse, The city of bodhicitta, without distinction of samsara and nirvana. The Dharmata, vast expanse, the summit towering high, Unfabricated self-nature, in the midst of the four directions wide. The entrance free from sequential effort is exceedingly vast. The essence of the expanse, by its own nature pure, is without establishment or removal, and without fabrication or adulteration, and because it is the basis of all, it is in accordance with the ground. In neither samsara nor nirvana is there limitation or partiality, so it is like the palace of self-originated boundlessness. The Dharmata is vast in the center, without measure or definition, so it is only said to be towering high. From the beginning, it is beyond the four extremes of action and permanence, and so forth, which is the nature of combining with the four wide sides. The gate through which the most intelligent enter is the gate that is free from sequential effort, cause and effect, and is self-established from the beginning, and is called the palace of Dharmata bodhicitta. Their nature is from the Six Spaces: Unfabricated wisdom, completely pure. Unfabricated color, unmixed, clear. Non-dual, unfabricated, in the state of emptiness. Self-originated, unfabricated, the space of awareness. Thus it is said. From the Kun Byed: The gate is entered through the gate that cannot be sought. Thus it is said. The ornaments and arrangement of that palace are: In that place adorned with the splendor of spontaneous accomplishment, The self-originated wisdom king sits on the throne. All the displays of gathering and scattering, the plays of wisdom, Having become ministers, they rule the country. And the samadhi abiding in its own place is the noble queen, And the self-arisen thought, the sons and servants. Great bliss, swirling expanse, self-luminous, without conceptualization. There, the self-originated, spontaneously accomplished awareness is the arrangement of the palace. Body and wisdom are inseparable, and all dharmas are complete.
