Not being crooked means: it is like wandering among rocks on an unfamiliar path, so it is better to abandon the self-introduction of empty meditation darkness. The great teacher Garab Dorje said: "The view of clinging to mental judgment is annoying. The meditation based on it is tiring. The conduct of acting on it is exhausting. The hope for its result is completely wrong." It is like what was said. The advice to conquer the demons of grasping and clinging to samsara is: For the single bindu without corners, clinging to one and different is a deluded mind. For self-arisen wisdom without cause and condition, clinging to the path of samsara is an obstacle to enlightenment. For the spontaneously accomplished, impartial, and unconfined, clinging to the extremes of biased views is an arrogant demon. For the emptiness without substance or characteristics, adding existence and non-existence, appearance and emptiness, is a perverse mind. Therefore, abandon the box of whatever desired biases, and understand the spontaneously accomplished and impartial like the sky. Awareness is thorough, and for the single bindu that is free from elaboration, considering the nature of existence and non-existence, appearance and emptiness, views and meditation, etc., as one, or as different, etc., are all illusory thoughts, because self-arisen wisdom is not established anywhere. Therefore, clinging to samsara and the appearance of samsara as established in one's own mind is also an obstacle to not realizing the meaning of Dharma-nature, because it is clinging to things and characteristics. Considering existence and non-existence, and being and non-being, is also the sudden appearance of mental obscurations on the nature of being free from elaboration, because it is a net of various elaborations. In short, clinging to all that is thought, spoken, and objectified is a reversed complete delusion, and for thoroughly realizing the nature, it is called the door of obscuring darkness, and it is shown as the demon of clinging to characteristics and binding. The Great Garuda says: "Body and speech are fabricated, and the mind clings to holding. For obscuring the truth of Dharma-nature, what other antidote is more supreme than this?" At this time, in order to be liberated from the dangerous path of the demons that should be abandoned, it is important to understand them, so I will explain a little. The nature of the demon is ignorance, with the illusory thoughts of grasping and clinging. The definition is that it obstructs liberation, so it is a demon. If classified, the root classification is the two of grasping and clinging. The branch classifications are the demon of the aggregates, the demon of death, the demon of afflictions, and the demon of the gods.

The four kinds of demons. If divided by limbs, there are twenty-eight kinds, including external demons. If divided by various transformations, they are inconceivable, as many as the limits of thought, the distinctions of karma, and the collections of afflictions. In short, they are all included in one concept. If conceptualization is liberated in the state of awareness, and the meaning of awareness is thoroughly understood, then one is called a yogi who has completely conquered the demons. These also come from self-liberation of awareness. The demons bound by conceptual signs are inconceivable, numerous, inexpressible, and unimaginable. However conceptual signs may change, all are the nature of demons. In short, it is shown as follows: If one is attached to the objects of grasping and holding, it is an external demon. If one acts in delusion with conceptualization, it is an internal demon. Fame and widespread reputation are being deceived by demons. Adorning the body beautifully is being deceived by demons. The flattery of relatives is being deceived by demons. Having attachment and hatred for enemies is being deceived by demons. Thinking of oneself as self is being deceived by demons. If attachment to the body arises, that is also a demon. If one is attached to the objects of grasping and holding, it is an external demon. If one is attached to the taste of samadhi, it is an internal demon. If one is attached to the objects of appearance, it is the demon of the field of appearance. If one consumes doubt about whether it is so or not, it is the demon of thought. If one is carried away by the distraction of actions, it is the demon of samsara. If conceptualization enters the body, it is the demon of mind. If one is attached to the Dharma of grasping and holding, it is the demon of mind. If one is attached to the enjoyment of retinue, it is the demon of distraction. If one is attached to the Dharma of samsara, it is the demon of aggregates. If one is attached to the mire of disputes, it is the demon of afflictions. If one is attached to friends of joy and sorrow, it is the demon of gods. If one is angry and fierce, brave and powerful, it is the demon of the lord of death. If one is attached to the deity of meditation, it is the demon of bondage. If one is attached to the five attachments and hatreds, it is the demon of the lower realms. If one is attached to the ten virtuous practices, it is the demon of birth. If one is attached to the path of samsara, it is the demon of ignorance. If one is greedy for objects, it is the demon of attachment. If one abandons blaspheming the Dharma, it is the demon of jealousy. If one denigrates others, it is the demon of pride. If one abandons others, it is the demon of faults. Likewise, being deceived by demons is inconceivable, inexpressible, and numerous. However, if the four root demons are destroyed, then the demons will not find an opportunity. The distinctions of demons are explained in this way. Therefore, conceptualization is the demon of samsara, non-existent, emptiness, form.
