When definitely examining the Dharma, appearances arise due to the power of craving and attachment. The nature of impermanence and illusion will perish. Its nature is like that of a helpless blind person. Thus it is said. Therefore, the root of delusion lies in clinging, and that clinging lies in seeking objects with conceptual thought. Therefore, the key to cherishing the path that can completely liberate encounters is crucial. Although there are many ways to reverse delusion, they can be summarized into three: Reversing delusion from the ground, which is recognizing the basis of delusion and causing delusion to subside on its own, like a thief fleeing after recognizing a ghost, and then feeling secure in one's own home, is the way of the Great Perfection of self-nature. Reversing delusion from the path, which is wanting to be liberated by using the delusion caused by afflictions as the path itself, like those who have gone astray entering the wrong path and then returning to the correct path and not going astray, is like the common Mantras. Reversing delusion from the result, which is the Vehicle of Reasoning, which believes that after attaining Buddhahood, delusion and its imprints will be reversed, like a king being able to conquer enemy countries after seizing power. These are also due to the different levels of intelligence and the different ways of achieving results and practicing the path. Therefore, although the higher can understand the lower, the lower cannot understand the higher. Therefore, those who are certain of the key points of the Great Perfection of self-nature must keep it secret, because the minds of the lower cannot comprehend it, otherwise the greatness of the Dharma will be diminished and it will become a cause for the lower to commit sins. Therefore, secrecy is the treasury of the Victorious Ones, superior to accumulating jewels. These words should not be mentioned even a speck to the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas, etc. Why is that? Because when they hear all these words, they will be frightened, terrified, and faint, and they will lose faith in the Mantras and develop wrong views, and as a result, sentient beings will experience great suffering in the great hells. Therefore, not to mention teaching and hearing, it should not even be mentioned in the direction of the wind. The Vajra Speech requested: O Blessed One, what is the cause of all those Shravakas and others appearing in that way? The Buddha replied: The Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas, etc., are without fortune, and because they have not become vessels for the Mantras and are of small intelligence, it is like stuffing a cloth into the eye of a needle, which cannot fit and pass through.

It is said as if there is no chance. If you are advised to abandon clinging like this, then what and what are clinging to? How should those be abandoned? In order to dispel the doubts in the minds of those who examine in detail, the explanation is as follows: That awareness that is liberated by being enlightened from the beginning, do not bind it in the box of clinging mind. From the beginning, it is a space without objects, completely pure. The great bliss, equal to space, is the basis of the space of enlightenment. For this, samsara is impossible, it is the original state. The self-nature of awareness, because it is free from elaboration, naturally abides in the self-nature of enlightenment, so it is said that there has never been samsara, just like space. So it is advised, do not bind it with the box of sudden conceptual thoughts. The box of Dharma is the greatest bondage of awareness, although there are endless names, but if summarized, there are: the box of clinging to words and terms, the box of non-conceptual dullness, the box of clinging to actions and efforts, the box of clinging to appearances as true, the box of seeking true meaning from elsewhere, the box of clinging to emptiness and form, the box of lost nature and empty views, the box of rampant thoughts, the box of empty meditation and dark stones, the box of meaningless suffering and bending, a total of ten types are mentioned. In the Tantra of the Heap of Jewels, after that, The Teacher himself also solemnly proclaimed in his own words of greatness: Without understanding the one taste of all dharmas, clinging to words and terms is like carrying a burden that the body cannot bear. Without understanding the inseparability of space and wisdom, whoever meditates on non-conceptual dullness is like carrying a mountain on the waist. Without understanding spontaneous arising, whoever clings to actions and efforts is like the attachment of a painter. Without understanding self-arising and non-ceasing, holding appearances as true is like a tree losing its life. Without understanding the three bodies being naturally complete, seeking definitive words elsewhere is like chasing elephant tracks but not finding them. Without understanding the essence of the essence, explaining the self-nature of awareness is like a dakini being caught in a net. Without understanding the present abiding, natural liberation, claiming to have realized the view is like a dwarf pretending to be a king. Without the body, speech, and warm signs increasing, claiming to have realized non-birth is like the wind in an empty valley. Without being accustomed to the life force, claiming to have cut off the illusion of appearances
