Because there is no real basis, it is empty like space and devoid of characteristics. When not examined, it is delightful, like various illusions. It arises from the interdependent connections of habitual delusions, like the appearance of Datura. This appearance of various conventional phenomena does not exist in reality because it lacks its own characteristics, like a moon in water. If examined, it does not exist; if not examined, it appears to exist, hence it is called an illusion. Just as various appearances arise from the delusion caused by Datura. Illusion is a conventional dharma. These dharmas are empty in nature and without self. Because that is their reality. What is called the ultimate truth, the appearing aspect is the conventional. From the very moment of appearance, arising and so on are not established. That nature is such, inseparable from the truth. The conventional, like a moon in water, its nature is emptiness, which in the ultimate truth, the appearing aspect is the conventional. It is also known as the two truths of terminology. But these two truths are not different in essence, not separate and independent, because both are without basis. In the "Commentary on Mind," it says: "Therefore, the basis of all phenomena, without a place to dwell, is like an illusion, peaceful, without both existence and non-existence, emptiness should always be meditated upon." In the "Ornament of Clear Realization," it says: "That is the way of being without a basis, without a basis, without going, and without arising." Thus, these two truths are complete. Here, it is established as conventional and determined to be unestablished. As it says in the "Ornament of the Sutras": "Another's butter, whatever is desired, is another's small wife. Another's ultimate truth is another's conventional truth." Therefore, what is considered the ultimate truth by terminologists, when analyzed with intellect, there is nothing other than clinging to the non-substantiality of things and generalities, therefore it becomes the conventional. Here, the conventional truth is like a dream, clinging to the distinctions of what is not established, this nature of non-establishment, its essence is like the sky. Its nature is pure from the beginning, and luminosity is inseparable from the ultimate truth, therefore samsara and nirvana are inseparable, the two truths are non-dual. Samsara is conventional, the nature of these two truths is unestablished from the beginning. The unestablished part is not different from the spontaneously present luminosity, because the samsara that can be distinguished is not established, so nothing can be established on the unestablished part. Therefore, luminosity

The nature of ultimate Nirvana, and the primordial purity of samsara, since the establishment and non-establishment of the two dharmas contradict each other, there is no difference, and it should be known as non-dual. If it is said that Nirvana is not established, this is intended to prevent the clinging to imputation, and it is not the non-establishment of the characteristic cessation. The meaning of this is summarized as follows: Although it appears like this, samsara is not established, it has no self-nature, and there is no dharma to distinguish it from the ultimate truth of the sphere. Therefore, it is shown that samsara and Nirvana are non-dual, and are of equal nature. The part of samsara that appears but is not established, and the ultimate truth of the purity of the essence of the sphere, even if one dharma contradicts, are also inseparable. Because it is not stained by samsara, it is shown to be self-nature pure, so it is non-dual, just as the non-duality of the mixture of light and darkness does not exist. Because samsara is not established, there is no dharma to distinguish, so it is also said to be non-dual with luminosity. Is it like the non-duality of day and night? It's like a thing and a rabbit's horn. Therefore, is it non-dual in truth? The meaning of the non-duality of samsara and Nirvana, if other wrong thoughts arise from this, it is extreme ignorance of the meaning of reality. Both samsara and Nirvana are established only as appearances, the essence without self-nature is distinguishable, and in the ultimate truth, both are not established at all, so there is no object of distinction. This is also ignorance and delusion about the meaning of the supreme vehicle. If you distinguish at the time of appearance, just like the appearance, non-duality is unreasonable. The so-called two parts without self-nature, because samsara and Nirvana are not outside of it, if samsara and Nirvana appear to be different, then the absence of self-nature is also different, like a pillar and a pot. If there is no samsara in the ultimate truth, and there is no liberation, then effort is meaningless, and there are many faults such as samsara. In nature, samsara is not established but appears, the ultimate truth is established but does not appear now, and it is established as appearing at the time of Buddhahood. Now, holding onto nothing with the appearance of mental discrimination is itself a nihilistic view, and those who desire liberation should not rely on it. In nature, there is no establishment or non-establishment of imputation, but there is establishment that exists in meaning, which is what is said in the profound tantras. The wisdom of discrimination is like vomit, and the profound intention should not be slandered, because it is
