This profound Prajñāpāramitā is free from all elaborations. The inseparability of emptiness and clarity is called the indivisible truth. The immutability is called the suchness of dharmatā. For example, in the sky, the changes of the four elements appear, but the sky does not change. Similarly, in the self-originated wisdom, the arising and ceasing of the aggregates, elements, and sense bases appear, but that self-originated wisdom does not change. In this, faults can be purified, and it is empty because it knows separation from defilements; it is not empty because the qualities are inseparable. The Uttaratantra states: "The nature of having distinctions is empty of adventitious defilements; the nature of having no distinctions is not empty of the supreme dharma." This is what the wise ones with the eye of wisdom, who are vast in the meaning of the heart essence of the tantras, assert. Now, refuting the inverted wrong conceptions: Not understanding this principle, emptiness is nihilistic. Although they say that words are free from the extremes of existence and non-existence, they do not understand the basis of separation and are holders of the peak of existence view. Since they have become external to this teaching, they can be smeared with ashes. They slander this profound, peaceful, nectar-like gate of the ultimate truth of dharmatā, and although they say that words transcend the extremes of existence and non-existence, and are therefore free from all elaborations, separation requires what is to be separated from, the defilement to be separated from, and the basis on which to separate. However, you nihilistic sky-minded ones, who lack both of these, have become external to the teachings of Śākyamuni. Even if it is good, that peak of existence view will sow the seeds of saṃsāra, and mostly lead to the lower realms. Holding wrong views belongs to the Lokāyata, only lacking the complete appearance. Now, if you abandon saffron robes and smear your body with ashes, everything will be the same, so you can throw it far away, everything will be the same. Gathering the definitive meaning of the essence: Whatever treasury of dharma the teacher taught here, the heart essence of all is the path of the peak of clear light, this is called the spontaneously accomplished ground. It should be known that this spontaneously accomplished ground is highly praised in the final words of the Buddha and in the secret mantras. The necessity and benefit of knowing this: By knowing this ultimate of the profound view, one is freed from wrong paths and obscurations, and is free from all extremes of permanence and annihilation, and one practices.

Therefore, may [one] swiftly attain enlightenment and possess the eye to view all sutras and tantras. Therefore, please realize the clear light of reality. If one understands without error the essence of the profound Dharmadhatu, the blissfully departed one, the intent of the clear light of reality, one will not stray into the evil paths of shravakas and pratyekabuddhas, nor fall into the samadhi of the peak of existence, and one will be liberated from the extremes of permanence and annihilation. Accomplishing liberation will be meaningful, one will swiftly attain enlightenment, and one will possess the eye to view all sutras and tantras of definitive meaning. Therefore, one will become skilled in their meaning. Here, some Tibetan proponents of the sutra system say: "This secret mantra is the same in view as the Mind-Only school, it is the ultimate Madhyamaka." Why? Because they say that the basis of meaning is unchanging and they want to change the location. This seems to be a misunderstanding of the aspects. The Mind-Only school considers the unchanging to be permanent, and Mind-Only to be self-illuminating. But here, we consider the spontaneously accomplished, unconditioned, beyond permanence and annihilation, the realm of spontaneously accomplished qualities, so they are not the same. The Mind-Only school considers the alaya-vijnana, the eight consciousnesses themselves, to be the transformation of location, therefore they consider it to be wisdom. But here, because those are eliminated, merely the manifestation of self-arisen wisdom, the transformation of location is designated, the difference between the two is extremely great. Therefore, knowing the virtuous, please listen to others, and initially please discuss the holy Dharma, this is the key instruction.
