Even just saying "it does not arise from itself but arises from others" is refuted, so it cannot be accepted. Therefore, one should understand that it appears like the arising of a dream but is without inherent existence. As it says in the Brahma's Questions: By always being without inherent existence, on the appearance of various things, arising, destruction, and cessation, you have shown to be like dreams and illusions. Thus, appearance is also not contradictory to worldly conventions. As it says in the Engaging in the Bodhisattva's Deeds: Arising from others is also not in the world. Therefore, one should understand that through the examination of whether the cause ceases or does not cease, self-arising and other-arising are not established. The ultimate truth that is not found after examining appearances is also non-existent, because conventional truth itself is not established in terms of parts and so on, therefore the ultimate truth examined on it is not established, just as the son of a barren woman is not established, therefore the ultimate truth examined on it is not established. Also, since the examiner arises in conceptual thought, it follows that the ultimate truth examined by him is not established, because the mind of conceptual analysis with an object is contradictory to emptiness and is not established. As it says in the Engaging in the Bodhisattva's Deeds: Ultimate truth is not the object of the mind, the mind is considered to be conventional. And: For minds that are attached to objects, emptiness is difficult to abide in. Because what is destroyed by conceptual thought is also conceptual thought, it is also not the true nature, because it is imputation. As it says in the Jewel Heap Sutra: For those who are always with conceptual thought, there is no ultimate emptiness, the mind that is completely disturbed by objects is the nature of cyclic existence itself. Therefore, it is said. The object of examination, the conventional truth that is not found, should not be the ultimate truth, is the unfound determined by the mind? Or is it the object? If it is the mind, then the object of examination and the examiner are different entities, therefore it is not established. If it is the object, then it will become three: parts, partless, and unestablished, therefore it is contradictory to the nature of the ultimate truth that is not established in any way, and it will follow that it appears as arising and ceasing, and it will follow that it is the object of the eye and so on. Therefore, the true ultimate truth must abide in a state that is examinable, unexaminable, and does not depend on examination. As it says in the Mother Sutra: Whether the Tathagatas come or do not come, this suchness will not increase or decrease. Thinking that examination is a method of realization is also not

Because, mind consciousness in a moment has no parts, and without the aspect of analysis, the analyzer is not established. The object of ultimate intention is beyond elaboration, so it is not established as an object of observation. It is not reasonable to distinguish only by the opposite aspect when the essence is the same. If the essence is the same, there will be the fault of mutual confusion. Different opposite aspects are fabricated, because they are not real, so the common appearance of reality will also necessarily be refuted. In the conventional, there is no reality other than the ultimate. In the ultimate, there is no reality other than the conventional. Because the reality of both times is not established. If reality is not established, the opposite aspect also does not exist, so the two truths will necessarily be impossible to establish. Because the analysis of mind consciousness and the two truths of the object of analysis do not exist in things, there is no true or false, one or different. As it is said in the Lankavatara Sutra: "The true truth is one, there are no two truths. Fools delight in elaboration, therefore they make various observations." If you say that it is said in the scriptures, it is not saying the observer and the object of observation, but only on the appearance of phenomena, for the essence that has not been observed, it is only described from the aspect of appearance and no self-nature. In reality, there is no truth or falsehood in the nature, so it cannot be established as two truths. If it can be established as two truths, it will become true, false, and a third, the reasoning is the same. The Sutra says: "Subhuti, all dharmas are neither true nor false, because by nature they have no essence." If you say that this is said in the ultimate truth, then the reasoning is the same, if it cannot be established in the ultimate truth, then it cannot be established in name, just like the son of a barren woman does not exist in the ultimate truth, but it is not reasonable to exist in the conventional. Therefore, this view has not gone beyond the category of fabrication, it is established in appearance, and not established in reality, which has not gone beyond the extremes of permanence and annihilation, because it has not separated from the clinging to reality of appearance and emptiness. The commentary on the Sixty Stanza Reasoning says: "Whatever is affirmed as existing in the conventional, will become permanent, and whatever is affirmed as not existing in the ultimate, will become annihilated." Because clinging to permanence and annihilation is the source of all faults, it must be prevented. As it is said in the Root Wisdom Sutra: "The Blessed One, knowing existence and non-existence, taught the holy teachings to Katyayana, therefore in this sutra it is said that both cutting off existence and cutting off non-existence are not appropriate." And as it is said in the Precious Garland: "Furthermore, in this also
