Therefore, it would be a mistake. It is also not permissible to ignore it, because if all knowable things are not seen directly, that would not work. Knowing by the power of knowing the mind that appears to benefit beings is also not permissible, because saying "appearing meaning" is a distinction of meaning, and this is also false, so it would fall into the fault of taking falsehood as its object. The intention of the Buddha is not referring to the three natures of non-inherent existence, because the Samadhiraja Sutra says: "All dharmas are always empty of self-nature. When the sons of the Victorious One destroy all things, all existences are empty. The emptiness of the day is for the heretics. The wise do not argue with the foolish." It also says: "Those who lack one thing are the inferior of emptiness." All dharmas are unborn and unceasing, referring to the absence of inherent birth, etc. As the Commentary says: "Because of being empty of self-nature, it is established as twenty emptinesses." Likewise. The interdependent arising that is free from extremes is also not merely arising from causes and conditions, but is inherently existent. The Mother Sutra says: "All dharmas do not come from anywhere, nor do they go anywhere." It is not just complete selflessness, but is purified by birth, cessation, coming, and going. The Mother Sutra says: "The so-called complete purity of all dharmas is that they are unborn by nature." Unspeakable is also not referring to an existence that cannot be spoken, but is unspeakable because it is free from the extremes of existence and non-existence. The Mother Sutra says: "The so-called unspeakable is that which is inconceivable, invisible, and beyond all objects of focus." Like a mirage, it is also not born from conditions. The Mother Sutra says: "The unconditioned emptiness is also like a dream, like a mirage. Nirvana is also like a dream, like a mirage." Therefore, dharmas that appear but are empty of inherent nature are called mirages. Therefore, the Buddha's intention is not to say that things exist. The Entering the Middle Way says: "Since they see that their vows are the same, the Buddhas, in order to resolve this dispute, have never taught that things exist anywhere." The contradictory establishment is that if all that is apprehended is completely imputed, then it is contradictory to hold the mind of others and to believe in the direct perception of clairvoyance, because if all that is apprehended is completely imputed, then others have no mind.

It is for this reason. The belief that there is no self of phenomena and that mind is the ultimate truth is contradictory, because the so-called self of phenomena is the nature of phenomena, so it contradicts the belief that mind has a nature. In this regard, due to the difference in faculties, the Hearers and Solitary Realizers see a single vase turning into dust, and they see that there is no "I" or "mine" to be grasped, which is the selflessness of the person. Mahayana practitioners, on top of that, believe that the phenomena of the vase are not established either, so they realize that there is no basis, therefore it is called the selflessness of phenomena. In short, the non-establishment of the knower and the known is the selflessness of the person, and the appearance of objects and phenomena as having no basis is established as the selflessness of phenomena. From the point of view of view, the belief that mind and the perfectly established are the ultimate truth is contradictory to meditating without focusing on anything, because it is impossible to obtain the result by meditating on something that is not in accordance with the state and the way of grasping at the time of the cause, just like wanting to go east but facing west. In this way, the belief that things have eight aggregates and the belief that they are constant, as well as the belief that there is a profound meaning but it cannot be expressed, are all refuted. Here, although eight aggregates are established in the confused appearance, in reality, from the nature of awareness itself, there is no difference between one and many, and for things and continuity, there is no constant or impermanent, it is just an appearance in the confused consciousness of children, and it is desired to meditate in a way that does not focus on the nature of phenomena that is not established in anything. Now, let's explain the differences between each in detail: From the perspective of believing or not believing that the appearance of objects is consciousness, it appears as two kinds, true and false, which is actually a combination of conceptual thoughts that do not conform to reality. The external environment appears in various ways, and the belief that one's own consciousness appears as other objects is the true aspect of the Mind-Only school; the belief that it is not consciousness, but falsely appears as consciousness, so the appearance of the solidified habit appears there, which is the false aspect of the Mind-Only school. These two also contradict the meaning of the Middle Way, so their respective conceptual thoughts waver, and they will eventually be exhausted in their own sectarian views. Among them, the first point of view is refuted first: These two Mind-Only schools do not have self-characteristics in external objects, the inner mind exists, and they agree on looking inward at self-awareness, but they disagree on whether the appearance of objects is truly existent. Therefore, the Brahmin Shakarananda and others say that the phenomena that appear as the dust of the object of grasping are the nature of phenomena. The grasper is the self-nature, because it is clear and conscious, like various feelings such as happiness and suffering. Therefore, non-existent things are impossible.
