Depending on the manner, there are five paths: the path of accumulation, the path of preparation, the path of seeing, the path of meditation, and the path of no more learning. As it is said in the Treasury of Knowledge: "The truths are explained as four: suffering, its origin, cessation, and the path. Thus, how are they realized in order?" The ultimate truth of the creator is that the grossest extreme, the atom, cannot be destroyed by hammers, etc., and the limit of knowledge, the instant, cannot be destroyed by the mind. From that: "Whatever is destroyed and by the mind, if eliminated, the mind does not enter it. Like a pot of water, it is conventional; the ultimate truth is other than that." So it is said. Mountains, etc., are destroyed from a yojana to a krosa, a fathom, a cubit, a finger, a barleycorn, a louse, a mustard seed, a sun mote, a cow mote, a sheep mote, a rabbit mote, a water mote, an iron mote, an atom, and the finest atom. One medium-sized mote of sunlight, divided into one part of forty-nine parts, that round mass is the ultimate truth, because the mind cannot dualize it, so even the noble ones have not seen it as having parts. Even if cut with a weapon or finely ground with a pestle, it is impossible to divide it into two. Life and kalpas are conventional, because they are destroyed into many years. The year itself, the month, the day, the moment, the finger-snap, the breath, and the pulse are also not true, because they are destroyed into sixty instants. The time of one part of sixty parts of one pulse beat of a mature person with balanced elements is the ultimate truth, because even though it is fast, it is an instant, and even fast things like arrows cannot move or change during that time. From that very text: "Form, name, time, limit, atom, letter, and instant, the finest atom, and the atom as well, the sunbeam atom and the fine, and that which arises from that, thus one finger is said to be seven times above, twenty-four fingers are a cubit, four cubits are one bow. Those five hundred are a krosa, that is called a hermitage. Those eight are called a yojana. One hundred and twenty instants, those instants of that also, sixty are a finger-snap. A moment, a day, a month, three months, from above to above are thirty times. A day and night, including what cannot be endured."

Twelve months make a year. Thus, the minute, indivisible particles remain unscattered by strong winds because they are gathered by common karma, or because of being "possessed," they are not scattered. The appearance of mountains from numerous particles, and the continuous existence of mountains and so on for a long time due to the succession of moments, is merely a delusion perceived by the coarse minds of children. The noble ones know that particles and moments cease, as it is said in the Venerable Pal Leg's "Seventy Verses on Dust": "A single hair is on the palm of the hand, people do not perceive it. When it enters the eye, it causes discomfort. Children are like the palm of the hand, they do not perceive the hair of compounded suffering. The noble ones are like the eye, therefore the mind arises greatly." Thus it is said. The ultimate state of an Arhat is that an Arhat who has passed into complete Nirvana will not fall back into Samsara, because they have abandoned the subtle defilements of what is to be abandoned by seeing and what is to be abandoned by meditation, and have exhausted the cause of taking birth in the three realms. It is also impossible to become a Buddha upwards, because their lineage is determined as Shravakas, so they cannot be the cause of becoming a Buddha. In general, the scriptures say that Buddhas appear, referring to excellent individuals. If I remain in Samsara for countless eons, I will not be able to endure suffering and will fall from the path. Because I cannot benefit the stubborn beings who are impossible to tame, thus it is said. The Alaya-vijnana does not exist: the six consciousnesses from eye-consciousness to mind-consciousness exist in turn. Other than these, there is no Alaya-vijnana, because it is not observed. If a permanent mind is established, then that is the self of the person. The Mahayana does not exist: the Buddha only taught the Vinaya with the Pratimoksha and the four Agamas, as well as the Sutras that extend from one Sutra, and the seven treatises of the Abhidharma Pitaka, and so on. Other than these, the Hundred Thousand Verses of the Prajnaparamita, the Ratnakuta Sutra, and the Avatamsaka Sutra, and so on, were not taught, because after the Buddha passed away, the demons and heretics fabricated them in order to elevate their own teachings. Because the great Shravakas such as Mahakashyapa were always inseparable from the Teacher.
