Because of descending, it is the one who descends good rain. Because of following the teacher Light Protector, it is the Light Protector school. Because the teacher is the Lama, it is the Lama school. Because it is said that from this world the person is transferred to the other shore, it is the Transference school. Incidentally, a slight refutation of their views: The Sthavira Nikāya, the Dharmaguptaka, the Bhadrayāṇika, the Mahāsāṃghika, and the Lama school, these five schools assert the existence of a self, as previously refuted. The Mahāsāṃghika believe that it is unreasonable to answer a question by bowing to others, as well as not knowing, being indecisive, fully examining, and nourishing oneself, these five bases are unreasonable, because these exist in the Tirthikas, and being deceived by demons, and attachment to food is an obstacle to the path. The Sautrāntika believe that the Buddha does not possess worldly dharmas, and that things like mustaches are not allowed in the Bodhisattva stage. The Bodhisattva takes birth because he desires bad destinies, and it is also unreasonable to say that the Buddha does not have the correct worldly view, because the Tathagata has already prevented birth, and there is no entering and accepting. The Bahuśrutīya believe that the Sangha transcends the world, and that there is speech entering into Samadhi, which is also unreasonable, because the going of the transcendent one is prevented, and because speech is prevented. The Eternalists believe that suffering without aggregates is the ultimate truth, which is unreasonable, because suffering itself is distinguished by the aggregate of feeling, and because the truth is prevented. The Caityaka and the schools of the Eastern and Western Mountains are the same as the Mahāsāṃghika, and have already been refuted. The Sthavira Nikāya believe that the Arhat is not taught by others, and it is also unreasonable to say that the person and the past and future exist, because one listens to the Dharma from the teacher, and like the prevention of the person and time. The Himavat believe that the Bodhisattva is not an ordinary person, and that even though the aggregates cease at the time of Nirvana, the person is eternal, which is also unreasonable, because there are ordinary persons in it, and because the truth and the person are prevented. The Sarvāstivāda say that the person and the past and future do not exist, the Stream-enterer attains meditation, the Arhat can also decline, the gods also have Brahmacharya, and all Sutras are provisional, which is also unreasonable, because the real existence of the three times is prevented, and because attainment is prevented, and if the Sutras are provisional, then the commentators cannot find the definitive meaning.

Moreover, the Sravakas consider their own scriptures to be supreme, as it is said, "The sutras are of direct meaning." The Mahasanghikas believe that there is no past or future, and if one sees suffering, one sees all four truths. There is no intermediate state (bardo). Arhats are also the same as ordinary people, possessing merit and so on, and are the same as the body. It is also not right to think that the Buddha belongs to the Sangha, because this negates the Four Truths, explains the duration of the intermediate state, negates the three aspects of person, body, and sameness, and the Buddha is said to be different from the Sangha. It is also not right for the Dharma-hiders to think that the Buddha does not belong to the Sangha, because if one thinks that the Buddha is independent, it contradicts not belonging to the Sangha, because the Buddha's intention is in virtue. It is also not right for the Sautrantikas to think that Vipaka arises, because it is negated by the fact that things have no distinction between permanence and impermanence. It is also not right for the Red Robes to say that the person and the skandhas do not exist or exist, because existence and non-existence are contradictory in nature, one must admit the conventionally existent person, and the substantially existent skandhas also do not exist. The Sthaviras believe that the five skandhas transfer from this world to the other world, and the skandhas will not cease until the path is realized, and it is also not right to think that the person is not ultimately existent, because this negates the transfer itself, the continuum of the skandhas is not established, it contradicts the merely conventionally existent person, and the path itself is also not established. The Vatsiputriyas believe that what should be taken and the taker are permanent, no Dharma transfers from this world to the other world, the person transfers by taking the five skandhas, conditioned phenomena have momentary and non-momentary aspects. The person cannot be said to be the same as or different from the skandhas. Nirvana cannot be said to be the same or different. For all sentient beings and Buddhas, there exists an inexpressible supreme self, and it is permanent. This statement is also not right, because the moment does not need a cause of destruction, and if it is permanent, it cannot be destroyed, so destruction with a cause is impossible. It negates non-momentary things, and if the skandhas to be taken and the self of the taker are not simultaneous, they cannot be taken, and if they are simultaneous, they will become different entities, and if neither side is liberated, it will lead to the conclusion that the self and the skandhas do not exist, and it negates the self or mind taking the body, and for the inexpressible nature, the self is not established, because the self cannot be said to be the self. The fallen and the falling, and the liberated and the liberation, and the aspects of liberation, which are revered by the Mahasanghikas.
