Through practices such as eating three kinds of food and changing three kinds of clothes, in front of the samaya being who is like a servant, one visualizes deities such as Avalokiteśvara as a lord or king, recites mantras, and engages in rituals such as fasting. Through this sequence, one hopes to manifest Buddhahood in sixteen lifetimes. The Kriya Tantra is: In the Kriya Tantra, purity and companionship, are desired for accomplishment in the manner of siblings. Upaya Tantra, which is the Kriya Tantra, views oneself and the deity as equal. One visualizes the wisdom deity in front of oneself, the samaya being, and visualizes and recites the mantra garland going from one's own mouth into the deity's mouth, emanating from the navel and entering one's own navel in a cyclical manner. Finally, the wisdom deity departs, and one meditates on the ultimate truth, free from elaboration. This is because the view is like Yoga and the practice is like Kriya, so both are called the Vehicle of Tantra. The Yoga Tantra is: In the Yoga Tantra, purity is only a companion, and the meditation of the mind is considered primary. Through the four mudras and the five Abhisambodhis, one's own samaya being and the wisdom deity from elsewhere, one attains accomplishment by meditating on non-duality. Yoga Tantra: In the Yoga Tantra, purity and conduct are only companions, and the main focus is on meditating on the deity of the mind. That is, one first generates oneself as the samaya deity, and then invites the wisdom deity, which is accomplished through the five Abhisambodhis: After taking refuge and generating bodhicitta, from emptiness, the cause for accomplishing a perfect field and place; from the lotus and moon seat, manifesting enlightenment, which is the cause for the perfection of Dharma; from the seed syllable of speech, manifesting enlightenment, which is the cause for the perfection of time, constant and inconceivable; from the symbolic gesture of mind, manifesting enlightenment, which is the cause for the perfection of retinue; from the complete deity body and the mandala retinue, manifesting enlightenment, which is the cause for the perfection of the nature of the body; from the wisdom deity bodhisattva, manifesting enlightenment, these are the five Abhisambodhis. With the samaya mudra, the dharma mudra, the karma mudra, and the maha mudra, these four mudras are sealed, and at the end of the completed ritual, the wisdom deity departs, and the samaya deity is absorbed.

应当行持。如是外密三者生起之后,修习圆满次第者,即彼等一切皆执持真假二谛轮番交替。就所法有境显现的世俗谛而言,观修本尊,亦将其安住于无所缘之状态中,即是观修远离戏论之胜义谛。是故真假二谛前后轮番交替而修持。现在宣说外内密之差别:以基、道、果之差别,当知外内密之自性。基成熟之灌顶的差别,道解脱之生圆次第与道友行持的差别,果解脱之时间的差别三者之门径,当知内密胜于外密,乃无上瑜伽之自性。其中,以宝瓶灌顶为主者,乃是外道;以其他三种灌顶为主者,乃是内道。彼等之明禁、随许与宝瓶灌顶之作用,显示置于外道之三者,就任何应取舍、应断证之体性与相似之方面而言,称为外道经部之乘。以宝瓶灌顶、秘密灌顶、智慧智慧灌顶、句义宝贵灌顶四者成熟相续,并且任何取舍方便皆不具足而作为道用之故,称为内道密咒之乘。就道修习之差别而言,观修有戏论之生起次第与轮番交替之圆满次第者,乃是外道;双运无戏论之生起次第与圆满次第者,乃是内道。行持道友亦是,于一切清净中行持者,乃是外道;于平等性中行持者,乃是内道。如是,外道虽长时勤奋,然不能迅速获得解脱,以入于事部的门径故,需十六世;以行部需七世;以瑜伽部需三世,方能获得各自之果位。不像内道般精进者,不能于此生获得或于中阴成就。如《智慧成就续》云: “以苦行斋戒律仪及, 种种手印所具足, 观想天神之身相, 不能成就诸悉地。” 又,就饮食受用之差别而言,以白三甜三为主者,乃是外道;以五肉五甘露为主者,乃是内道。 就穿着衣物之差别而言,以新衣为主者,乃是外道;

One should practice accordingly. Thus, after the arising of these three Outer Tantras, the practice of the Completion Stage is as follows: All of them hold the Two Truths alternately. In terms of the conventional truth of the appearance of phenomena, the visualization of the deity is also placed in a state of non-objectification, which is the practice of the ultimate truth, free from elaboration. Therefore, the Two Truths are practiced alternately, one after the other. Now, the difference between the Outer and Inner Tantras is shown: By the difference of the Basis, Path, and Result, one should know the nature of the Outer and Inner Secrets. The difference of the empowerment that ripens the Basis, the difference of the Generation and Completion Stages and the practice of companions that liberate the Path, and the difference of the time of liberation of the Result, through these three doors, one should know that the Inner Tantra is superior to the Outer Tantra, which is the nature of the Unsurpassed Yoga. Among them, the one that emphasizes the Vase Empowerment is the Outer Tantra, and the one that emphasizes the other three empowerments is the Inner Tantra. These three, which show the function of the Mingjin, Subsequent Permission, and Vase Empowerment, are placed in the Outer Tantra. In terms of the nature and similar aspects of what should be taken and abandoned, and what should be abandoned and cultivated, it is called the Sutra Vehicle of the Outer Path. The four precious empowerments of Vase Empowerment, Secret Empowerment, Wisdom-Awareness Empowerment, and Meaning-Word Empowerment ripen the continuum, and because they are used as the Path without any means of taking and abandoning, it is called the Secret Mantra Vehicle of the Inner Path. In terms of the difference in the practice of the Path, the one who practices the Generation Stage with elaboration and the alternating Completion Stage is the Outer Tantra, and the one who unites the Generation and Completion Stages without elaboration is the Inner Tantra. The practice of companions is also such that the one who practices in all purity is the Outer Tantra, and the one who practices in equality is the Inner Tantra. Thus, although the Outer Tantra strives for a long time, it cannot quickly attain liberation, because it enters the door of the Action Tantra, it takes sixteen lifetimes; with the Conduct Tantra, it takes seven lifetimes; with the Yoga Tantra, it takes three lifetimes to be able to obtain their respective results. Unlike the Inner Tantra, those who are not diligent cannot attain it in this life or achieve it in the Bardo. As the *Tantra of the Accomplishment of Wisdom* says: "With asceticism, fasting, vows, and, Endowed with various mudras, By meditating on the form of the deity, The accomplishment will not be achieved." Furthermore, in terms of the difference in food and enjoyment, the one that emphasizes the three whites and three sweets is the Outer Tantra, and the one that emphasizes the five meats and five elixirs is the Inner Tantra. In terms of the difference in clothing, the one that emphasizes new clothes is the Outer Tantra;
