O. Thus it is said. In the Sutra of the Earth Store, it says: To attend to and honor the Lama is to possess inconceivable qualities and virtues. By completely grasping this, one will completely obtain the ten treasures, namely: to practice all the Buddha's teachings uprightly, and to firmly remember these, and the appearance of Dharani, and to separately and correctly recognize the four teachings, and to skillfully understand the inexpressible meaning, and to see all the emanations of the Buddha, and to skillfully accomplish the equality of all dharmas, and to see all the Buddhas and not be separated from them, and to skillfully accomplish the benefit of others in the illusory and inconceivable kalpas, and to generate joy towards all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, this is the first treasure, and so on. In the Sutra of the Teaching of Karma and Result, it says: If someone, in order to open the eyes of sentient beings, truly proclaims the secret essence of the Tathagatagarbha of the Great Vehicle to many retinues, and gives all that is needed to those who speak the Dharma, they will obtain immeasurable ripening fruits. In short, to perfect the accumulation of merit and wisdom, to pacify all obstacles of bad conditions, to possess great glory and wealth, and to quickly attain Buddhahood, these are the visible and invisible virtues of the Dharma. Because my life was about to end, through the merit of offering to the venerable Lama Kumararaja with the purity of the three wheels, my life was extended, and I possessed an accumulation of enjoyment. Therefore, if such a credible benefit can be obtained in this life, what need is there to mention the next life? By nature, in the past, in the age of the Good Kalpa, there were fewer conceptual thoughts, and good and evil slowly ripened in the next life, and its foundation was vast. Now, in this degenerate age, coarse conceptual thoughts cause the manifestations of karma to ripen directly in this life. As the Sutras say, offering to a supreme object ripens directly without the passage of years and months, and one can see it directly for oneself and others, therefore one has deep faith. The supreme objects are the Lama, the Khenpo, the Acharya, the sick, the Dharma speaker, the last existence Bodhisattva, the Shravaka, the Pratyekabuddha Arya, and the parents. Both the merit and non-merit done to them have great power.

From the Abhidharmakosha: "Even if not a noble being, offerings to parents, the sick, Dharma speakers, and Bodhisattvas in their last existence are said to be immeasurable." Therefore, immeasurable qualities are also explained in detail in the tantras. The Garland of Flames Tantra states: "If a wise yogi sacrifices their own food and clothing to make offerings to the Vajra Guru, it is better than giving a thousand feasts to countless monks in the surrounding lands. Whether it be food or clothing, offering it to the Guru even once, hundreds of thousands of merits cannot be fully expressed." The Vajra Corpse Raising Tantra states: "Whoever constantly offers the best food and drink to the Vajra-holding Guru, will have abundant food and drink in this life and will attain the state of a Chakravartin king." The Vajra Kilaya Tantra states: "Whoever is intelligent and always completes the Tsok offering ritual before the Guru, will have possessions, complete the Tsok, eliminate all obstacles for themselves and others, and after death, be born as a member of the retinue of Guhyapati (Vajrapani)." The Gongdu states: "Even if one does not know or understand all the Dharma, by honoring and greatly serving a Guru who possesses excellent qualities, one will cross the ocean of Samsara. For example, just as seeds planted in fertile land will grow and flourish." The Guhyasamaja Tantra states: "The merit of offering to one pore of the Guru's body is greater than offering to all the Buddhas of the ten directions and three times." The Sutra of the Auspicious Arising states: "If one pleases a virtuous spiritual friend, one will attain the Bodhi of a Buddha." The Great Array states: "Horses, elephants, wealth, royal power, children, and consorts, gold, silver, copper, iron, jewels, food, feasts, clothing, essence, medicine, grains, flowers, Dharma, material possessions, all enjoyments, offer them as gifts to please the Guru. By this, all accomplishments will be achieved without obstruction in this very life. If one cannot afford to do so, offer a multitude of mind-created offerings, as many times as one's age. This will also have the same merit as before." The Tantra of the Ocean of Wisdom states: "Thus, the ultimate of all accomplishment-activities comes from relying on the Guru. Other accomplishments will not lead to liberation. Therefore, ac
