attention, as well as, consciousness, name and form, six sense sources, contact, feeling, craving, and grasping, existence, birth, old age and death. Place and non-place are samsara and its path, the origin of suffering, the result, all that is included in the truth of suffering is only to be abandoned, that is, non-place. Nirvana, the truth of cessation, is tranquility, its cause, the truth of the path, along with its parts, are antidotes, only to be obtained, so it is called place. Faculties are of two kinds: noble ones and ordinary beings. Among them, the physical faculties are the five faculties of eye, ear, nose, tongue, and body. The non-physical faculty is considered to be the mind. The faculties of faith, diligence, mindfulness, concentration, and wisdom. Among the faculties of liberated noble ones, the basis of remainder has five physical faculties, five non-physical faculties, and the faculty of liberation, a total of eleven. In the remainderless, the physical ones do not exist, the non-physical ones are obtained and do not diminish. In another way, among the twenty-two classifications of faculties, the way of calculating completeness is established by the Hearer School. If you like elaboration, you can examine it in its treatise. Among the nine things of the Buddha's teachings, the thing of sentient beings is the five aggregates of grasping, such as form. The thing of enjoyment is the twelve sources. The thing of birth is the twelve links of dependent origination in order. The thing of abiding is the four kinds of food. The things of pervasive defilement and purification are the four truths of suffering, origin, cessation, and path. The various things are the immeasurable realms. The thing of the teacher is the Buddha, Bodhisattva, and Hearers. The thing to be taught is the thirty-seven factors of enlightenment, such as the four mindfulnesses. What are they? They are the four mindfulnesses, four right abandonments, four legs of miraculous power, five faculties, five powers, seven branches of enlightenment, and eightfold noble path. Among them, the four mindfulnesses are the four mindfulnesses of body, feeling, mind, and phenomena.

are established. The four right abandonments are: for the sake of not generating unwholesome dharmas that have not arisen; for the sake of abandoning those that have arisen; for the sake of generating wholesome dharmas that have not arisen; and for the sake of increasing those that have arisen, one generates aspiration, exerts effort, strives, and diligently applies oneself. These are the four right abandonments. The four miraculous feet are: aspiration, mind, investigation, and samadhi, which are the feet of miraculous power. The five faculties are: the faculty of faith, the faculty of diligence, the faculty of mindfulness, the faculty of samadhi, and the faculty of wisdom. The five powers are the five aspects of faith and so forth. The seven branches of enlightenment are: mindfulness, discrimination of dharmas, diligence, tranquility, samadhi, joy, and equanimity, which are the branches of perfect enlightenment. The eight noble branches are: right view, right thought, right speech, right action, right livelihood, right effort, right mindfulness, and right samadhi, which are the eight branches of the noble path. The eight objects of assembly are: the royal class, the Brahmins, the householders, the ascetics, the classes of the four great kings, the thirty-three gods, Mara, and the retinue of Brahma. The meaning of "etc." is not limited to this, but refers to treatises such as those of kings, the ocean of Brahmins, householders, and merchants, the investigation of jewels, and all the categories of dharmas commonly known to both internal and external paths, which arise during this eon of abiding. As previously stated, the types that arise in this eon, and the nature of other formations and abidings, are also extensively distinguished in this abiding eon, showing those who possess or do not possess the dharmas of the upper and lower realms. Thus, when abiding, other distinctions are shown: there is no hunger or thirst, desire, form, or formlessness. The three continents possess many kinds of food, and the sound is unpleasant, with only rice. In the eon of abiding, which of the three realms possesses which dharma, and which does not? Thinking thus, here is a brief explanation: hunger and thirst exist only in the desire realm, and not in the two upper realms. The three continents possess food of
