All sentient beings of the three realms, their body, speech, and mind, are created by the body, speech, and mind of the All-Creating Self. All that is contained within the appearances and existence, the vessel and essence, is created by the body, speech, and mind of the All-Creating Self, within the unaltered nature of reality. Thus it is. At this time, one should abandon the confusion of contradictory terms mixed with desire. Some who speak rashly without being adorned by excellent learning say that these diverse outer appearances are the mind of enlightenment, and that one's own mind appears as such. Here, the two teachings that state the essence is one within the expanse of the mind of enlightenment are as different as heaven and earth. Those ignorant ones consider the mind of enlightenment to be their own mind, while here it is considered to arise from the power of grasping at self within the nature of the mind of enlightenment. From the very moment of arising, it is merely a play of power. The clear appearance, which is nowhere to be found inside or outside, is a phenomenon that is not established apart from mind and is merely an appearance arising from dependent origination. These diverse outer appearances are illusory appearances without basis, the emptiness that has never existed, and the emptiness of mind itself are merely inseparable. We say that all phenomena encompassed by inner and outer are of one taste, the mind of enlightenment. Although we speak from the perspective of the undifferentiated nature of reality, we do not consider the nominal appearances and one's own mind to be the same, because their substances are contradictory, the relationship of following or not following the coming and going, existence and non-existence of self and other is not established, and the differences in the nature of the object of appearance and the appearance itself, and so on, clearly distinguish them. It should be understood that there is no similarity with the views of the ignorant. In general, if we are to establish terms, distinguishing between inner and outer, appearance and mind, delusion and non-delusion, samsara and nirvana, and so on, in relative truth is the way of all phenomena. If we follow the views of those ignorant ones, the jumping of a dog and the jumping of a fox are the same, so there is no way to establish terms, path, purity, or impurity. Since nothing is established in ultimate reality, it is also a mistake to consider everything to be mind. Because some Mind-Only realists or some who wear the garb of non-Buddhists hold such views, one should not rely on this view.

It is not the same as your intention, everything arises from the mind of enlightenment." "It is said that the play arises from that power, so it is said. By distinguishing between power, play, and the mind of enlightenment as three, the dharmas are established. The mind of enlightenment is not established anywhere and is the basis of everything, so it is like the sky. That power is the uninterrupted way of appearing, like the surface of a mirror without tarnish. Play is the appearance of various dharmas, like the eight examples of illusion. These three are not established anywhere from the perspective of emptiness, so they are non-dual. From the perspective of appearance, like consciousness, sleep, and dreams, from the time when one appears from another, from the rootless nature, the mind of enlightenment, power, and play appear as three. These, from the perspective of essence, transcend the dharmas of one and different, and from the perspective of appearance, are spoken of as three terms. When establishing terms based on that essence, play and the mind of enlightenment cannot be one. Therefore, in relation to these plays, distinguish between appearance and the object of appearance, which does not exist either internally or externally, but know that the appearing image is like the eight examples of illusion. Even if they are designated as dharma and possessor of dharma, etc., they are perfected as great luminosity due to non-existence, so this is what the Great Perfection tradition accepts, therefore it should be understood in this way. Knowing how to explain in this way, one can widely, in detail, and without mixing, distinguish between various categories such as samsara and nirvana. Therefore, one dwells on the particularly excellent peak of that which is established by others. Nowadays, only our own tradition knows how to explain well. Now, all the dharmas that arise from self-arisen wisdom abide in the great equality without bias, and the yogi sees this realization as the empty form of clear appearance without existence, praising the certainty of the appearance of realization in self-appearance: From the unchanging awareness of enlightenment, samsara and nirvana, the appearance of existence without abandonment or attainment, arise. In the face of the yogi without grasping, this appearance without existence is amazing and laughter bursts forth. Just as those who know the tricks of illusion realize that it is appearing without existence, so with a mind attached to reality, they are amazed and laugh at the appearance in emptiness. Just as abandonment and acceptance, good and bad, are not established, but appearance appears uninterruptedly, all the dharmas of samsara and nirvana
