Mother does not obscure me. Because of not discriminating past and future, Samsara and nirvana, the two, do not obscure me. Because of not grasping at clarity and dimness as two, Distraction and dullness do not obscure me. Thus it is said. That is also because the nature of reality is primordially vast, without obscuration, transparent and nakedly manifest. As it is said in the Garland of Pearls: The basis of self-appearing emptiness, The basis of the expanse of wisdom body, The basis of various mind-essence awareness, The basis of pure, vast wisdom space, The basis of signless, truly pure self-awareness, The basis of phenomena self-perfected in the expanse, The basis of wondrous conduct of phenomena, The basis of wondrous meditation of mind, The basis of wondrous view of the sky, The basis of wondrous result of decisive certainty, The basis of wondrous wisdom of emptiness, The basis of wondrous nature of reality of play, The basis of wondrous conceptualization of knowing, The basis of wondrous truth of awareness. Thus it is said. If the meaning of this is shown in practical instructions, then in the Tantra of the River of Spontaneous Perfection it says: The nature of awareness itself is great, The way of liberation, the way of realization, the way of attainment. When abiding in the unborn realm, The way of seeing, the way of abiding, the way of dispelling. Thus it says. Therefore, the way of realization is to realize transparently, the way of liberation is to awaken in primordial purity, and the way of attainment is to attain in one's own place. These three occur simultaneously. There are three key points to becoming familiar with that state: seeing transparently, abiding decisively, and dispelling to the end. The order of these has already been shown. The key to determining the liberation of play into the nature of reality is: Various liberations are liberated into the one single space, Unfettered liberations are liberated into the spontaneously accomplished space, All liberations are liberated into the heart-essence space. All phenomena that appear in various unfettered ways, because their essence abides without a basis, are liberated into emptiness from their own ground. When a yogi realizes this, liberation from the bonds of clinging to the phenomena of his own mind is called the self-nature of appearing as the realization of phenomena-emptiness and awareness-emptiness. Even though the nature is like that, if the mind does not realize it, it is useless. If it is realized, it is attained without abandoning, accomplished without searching, and traveled without going. Therefore, it is the nature of reality that accomplishes all meanings. As it is said in the Garland of Pearls: "Alas, Secret Lord Vajradhara! If you realize the meaning of samsara itself, Then there is no such thing as nirvana. If you realize the meaning of the five poisons, Then there is no other wisdom."

If you realize the meaning of self-nature, there is no need to seek great bliss. If you thoroughly understand the two extremes of faults, there is no need to seek great qualities. If you understand the meaning of delusion itself, there is no need to seek unerring awareness. If you understand the meaning of the five elements, the five great wisdoms will naturally be accomplished. If you cut off the root of ignorance, the body of wisdom will be accomplished without cultivation." "If you understand the meaning of sentient beings, you can attain Buddhahood even without seeking. If you understand the meaning of various appearances, you can attain the light of ignorance without seeking." "If you cut off the traces of thoughts, delusion itself will be liberated in its own place. If you understand the meaning of emptiness appearing, the body of wisdom will also be naturally accomplished. If you see the ultimate of things appearing, emptiness itself will be perfected without cultivation. If you understand the meaning of the purity of Dharma-nature, the unborn Dharma-nature will reach the other shore." Thus it is said. If these meanings are arranged into practical instructions, it is to practice without departing from self-aware awareness by relaxing and abiding in the natural state for all appearances and arising. As it is said in the Tantra of the Burning Body: "After receiving the empowerment of being complete in the base without initiation, the oral instructions of relaxing and abiding in the natural state are taught. Practice without separation and without protection, this is the secret meaning of abiding in the one self-nature." That is to say, at the time of any appearance, abiding in a relaxed manner is the key to going to self-liberation. At the time of self-liberation, the nature of awareness being naked and clear appears, and not moving from it is the real practical instruction." "In the Naturally Arisen Perfection it says: "When understanding, there are four situations, namely relaxing, self-liberation, and not moving." Thus it is said." "The four situations refer to: understanding appearances as rootless, understanding knowing as without object." "Understanding awareness as without support, understanding Dharma as without name. Now, explaining the nature of all things being primordially liberated, among them, explaining the immovable, empty-clear purity is:" "Luminosity is liberated in the midst of the sun and moon, Dharma-nature is liberated in the midst of space." "Phenomena are liberated in the midst of the ocean, immutability is liberated in the midst of the king of mountains. When the nature of mind is luminosity, awareness from the beginning has no self-nature, and has already been liberated in the midst of the sun and moon, therefore, recognizing that self-born wisdom is luminosity, through familiarization, one can determine the key to liberation. What is considered to be the great emptiness of Dharma-nature, awareness
