If one does not recognize the primordial connection of awareness, the empty and clear, as being non-dual, and only meditates in a state of non-conceptual single-pointedness, one will not attain the ground of dharmata, will not see the nature of reality, and will not cross the defilements of grasping at subject and object. This is like someone who cuts at the waist of Mount Meru, hoping to cut it down. If one can pull out the peg of mental clinging, one will be at ease. If one does not recognize that awareness has its own natural meditation, and hopes to abide in meditation through the key points of body, energy, and mind, it is like an artist being attached to his own painting, never having the opportunity to meet the state of dharmata's intention. If one can abandon the means of effort, one will be at ease. If one does not recognize that the empty form, which arises as a play from the unobstructed power of awareness, is merely a clear appearance, some will grasp appearances as their own mind, and some will grasp them as other external things. This is like a tree whose heartwood has dried up, so that no leaves will grow. The fruit is a meaningless effort, so if one can abandon all clinging to the idea that "appearance is this," one will be at ease. In general, the appearance that arises as a play from power appears as pure through pure clinging, and appears as confused through impure clinging. From the time of appearance, it is only a play of power, and there is nothing either inside or outside, and nothing is established. It is the groundless empty form, merely a clear appearance. . This has been said before. If one does not recognize that the essence, nature, and compassion of awareness are the three kayas, and the ultimate truth, and thinks that the ultimate truth exists somewhere as an empty void, it is like an elephant returning to its own home, but not knowing that it is there, and instead chasing after its tracks, searching everywhere but not finding it. If one can abandon the thought of searching for the ultimate nature, one will be at ease. If one does not recognize that awareness is the exhaustion of phenomena, naked, and clear, and grasps the empty form of external appearance as awareness, one will not be liberated from the bonds of grasping at subject and object. This is like a bird tied with a thread, wanting to fly, but only being able to go as far as the thread allows. If one can abandon seeking purification and liberation in light and appearance, one will be at ease. If one does not understand the meaning of awareness naturally abiding and naturally liberating in the place of awareness, and only negates each part of the general concepts of emptiness, bliss, clarity, and non-action, and thinks that one has realized the view, and claims to have realized it, it is like a chick with no new ideas, only changing its clothes and pretending to be a king. If one can abandon the views of conceptual thought, one will be at

Therefore, as stated in the Root Wisdom Treatise: "To abandon all views, the Buddha taught this Dharma." To boastfully claim to have realized the view based on arrogance and speculation is absurd. Such shameless words, devoid of true meaning, who but the ignorant and deluded would utter? The actions of those whose minds are closed and who have gone astray, following the masses, are contrary to the sacred Dharma and are despised by the wise. If one truly realizes the meaning of non-arising, the delusion of attachment to things will be dispelled, and the warmth of Dharma nature will naturally manifest in body and speech, without attachment. There will be no fear of death, radiance will shine, youth will be maintained, and white hair and wrinkles will not appear. If one does not have these signs, but falsely claims to have realized non-arising, it is like an echo in an empty valley, meaningless. Therefore, one should abandon the empty talk of non-realization and the clinging to speculation in order to find peace. If one has not understood the natural face of awareness, the true meaning of the unceasing luminosity of emptiness, which is neither substantial nor annihilated, yet claims to have stopped the illusory appearances and attachments of samsara, it is like groping in the dark, where neither oneself nor others can see. If one does not fundamentally eliminate the delusion of grasping and the grasped, one cannot be liberated. Therefore, one should abandon the meditation of focused mind in order to find peace. If one has not recognized the naturally pure face of awareness, the essence of the unsurpassed tantra, no matter how diligently one practices, even if it seems to be accomplished for a time, in the end, doubts and speculations will arise due to incomplete purification, and one will go astray. Such a wrong path is like being lost in a desolate wilderness with no way out. Therefore, one should abandon the dark practice that aims at emptiness in order to find peace. As the great Acharya Garab Dorje said: "The view of clinging to speculation is a source of affliction; the meditation based on this view is disheartening; the conduct based on this is exhausting; the hope for results based on this is ultimately mistaken." Advice on overcoming the demon of grasping and the grasped, samsara: In the single bindu without corners, to cling to one and different is a deluded mind; in the self-born wisdom without cause or condition, to cling to the path of samsara
