名为《金光明经》者，能净化一切业障。 此甚深之法，将为众生宣说。 若人于千劫之中，造作极重之罪业， 仅以一次至诚忏悔，彼等一切罪障皆得清净。 何者能令业障迅速清净？ 即是念诵此《金光明经》之殊胜忏悔文。 以此功德，愿我能证得十地菩萨之位， 安住于十地之上。 愿能彰显诸佛之功德， 从轮回之苦海中解脱众生。 诸佛如大海，如河流， 其功德如深邃之海洋。 以诸佛无量之功德， 愿我能圆满证得一切智。 愿我能证得百千三摩地， 以及无量之总持。 以诸佛之威德力、菩提之分， 愿我能成就十力。 祈请诸佛以其智慧之眼， 垂视于我。 祈请诸佛以其慈悲之心， 宽恕我之过错。 我于百劫之中， 往昔所造诸恶业， 为此我深感忧伤， 为贫困、忧伤与恐惧所困扰。 我畏惧罪恶之业， 内心常感卑微。 无论我身在何处， 皆无喜乐可言。 诸佛皆具大慈悲， 能救度一切众生脱离怖畏。 祈请宽恕我之过错， 愿我能从诸怖畏中解脱。 我之烦恼与业力之垢染， 祈请如来为我涤除。 祈请诸佛以慈悲之水， 洗净我之罪业。 我忏悔一切罪业， 往昔所造诸恶业， 以及今生所造之罪过， 我皆忏悔。 所有因无知而造作之恶业， 我皆发誓永不再犯。 我所造作之罪业， 皆不敢隐瞒。 身之三种恶业， 语之四种恶业， 意之三种恶业， 我皆忏悔。 身所造作，语所言说， 意所思念之恶业， 所有十种不善业， 我皆忏悔。 舍弃十不善业， 修持十善业， 愿我能安住于十地， 成就殊胜十力。 我所造作之罪业， 能招感不悦意之果报， 于诸佛面前， 我皆忏悔。
English
That which is called 'The Noble Golden Light,' purifies all actions. This profound teaching, I will reveal to sentient beings. Whoever, in thousands of kalpas, commits extremely terrible sins, By confessing just once with utmost sincerity, all those sins will be purified. What quickly and completely exhausts the veils of karma? Confessing these confessions of the noble and virtuous Golden Light. Having confessed these, may I abide in the ten bhumis, The ten supreme sources of jewels. May I illuminate the qualities of the Buddhas, And liberate beings from the ocean of existence. The Buddhas are like an ocean, like a river, And their qualities are like a deep ocean. With the immeasurable qualities of the Buddhas, May I completely perfect omniscience. May I attain hundreds of thousands of samadhis, And immeasurable dharanis. By the power of the Buddhas, the limbs of enlightenment, May I become the supreme ten powers. With the mind of contemplation, may the Buddhas, Look upon me. With the compassionate mind, May you forgive my transgressions. In hundreds of kalpas, Whatever sins I have committed in the past, Therefore, I am sorrowful, Afflicted by poverty, sorrow, and fear. I fear sinful actions, My mind is always humbled. Wherever I go and whatever I do, I have no joy. All the Buddhas are compassionate, Relieving the fear of all beings. Please forgive my transgressions, And liberate me from fears. May the Tathagatas cleanse, The stains of my afflictions and actions. May the Buddhas, Wash me with the water of compassion. I confess all sins, Whatever I have done in the past, And whatever sins I commit now, I confess them all. All the actions I have wrongly done, I vow not to do again. Whatever sins I have committed, I will not conceal them. The three actions of the body, And the four actions of speech, And the three actions of the mind, I confess them all. Actions done by the body, deeds done by speech, And thoughts conceived by the mind, All ten actions done, I confess them all. Having abandoned the ten non-virtuous actions, I will rely on the ten virtuous actions, May I abide in the ten bhumis, And become supremely powerful with the ten powers. I confess. In this Jambudvipa (Sanskrit: Jambudvipa, Sanskrit Romanization: Jambudvipa, Chinese literal meaning: 阎浮提) and in other worlds, I rejoice in all those who do good deeds. With whatever merit I have accumulated through body, speech, and mind, may I attain supreme enlightenment through this root of virtue. Beings in samsara, with childlike minds, have committed all kinds of unbearable sins. In the presence of the One with Ten Powers (Buddha), I confess all these sins one by one. I confess the sins I have accumulated from the sufferings of birth, the sufferings of samsara, the sufferings of the world, the sufferings of a restless mind, and the various sufferings of body, speech, and action. I confess all these sins in the presence of the Buddhas, caused by suffering from ignorance, afflictions, bad friends, samsara, greed, hatred, the darkness of delusion, fatigue, seasons, and obstacles to performing virtuous deeds. This is the confession from the Sutra of Golden Light, which should be recited diligently. Because of my ignorance and delusion, whether it is a natural transgression or a transgression of precepts, whichever I have committed, I confess it openly before the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. With palms together, with pain and fear, I prostrate again and again, and confess all these sins. I pray that the guides forgive my transgressions. This is not good, I will never do it again. I rejoice with joy in the mind of benefiting all beings and the ocean of merit, and in the actions of benefiting beings. I prostrate with palms together to the Buddhas in all directions: Please light the lamp of Dharma for beings who are drowning in the darkness of suffering. I prostrate with palms together to the Buddhas who wish to pass into nirvana: Please do not abandon these beings, please remain for countless kalpas. After doing all this, whatever merit I have accumulated, may it eliminate all the suffering of all beings. May the wish-fulfilling jewel, the excellent vase, the accomplished mantra, the great medicine, and the wish-fulfilling tree fulfill the wishes of all sentient beings. May the great elements such as earth and space, like space, be eternal, and be the source of various necessities for countless beings.
