From this day forward, I will uphold, and never abandon. For the great Vajra family, the Vajra bell seal should also be truly held. The teachers should also be upheld. For the precious family's great vows, which are pleasing to the mind. Every day, six times a day, always give the four kinds of generosity. From the great Bodhicitta arises, the pure lotus jewel. Outer, inner, secret, the three vehicles, all the sacred Dharma should be upheld. For the great Karma family, to be endowed with all vows, truly uphold. Make offerings as much as possible, generate the unsurpassed Bodhicitta. For the benefit of all sentient beings, I uphold all vows. Those who are not liberated, I will liberate, those who are not freed, I will free. Those who are not comforted, I will comfort, and lead sentient beings to Nirvana. Say this three times. Apply fragrant water dots to the three places (forehead, throat, heart), ༀ（Tibetan, ॐ, oṃ, Om）, on the forehead, ཨཱཿ（Tibetan, आः, āḥ, Ah）, on the throat, and ཧཱུྃ（Tibetan, हूँ, hūṃ, Hum）on the heart. With the light of these filling the body, purify the defilements of body, speech, and mind. In the heart, visualize the nature of the conventional Bodhicitta—on top of the moon disc, manifest the nature of the ultimate Bodhicitta—a white five-pronged vajra. Recite: ༀ་སརྦ་ཡོ་ཀ་ཙིཏྟ་ཨུཏྤ་ཏ་ཡ་མི།（Tibetan, ॐ सर्व योग चित्त उत्पादयमि, oṃ sarva yoga citta utpādayami, Om, generate all yoga mind）. Place the vajra and flowers in the heart, and recite: ༀ་སུ་ར་ཏི་ས་མ་ཡ་སྟཾ། ཧོ་སིདྡྷི་བཛྲ་ཡ་ཐཱ་སུ་ཁཾ།（Tibetan, ॐ सुरति समय स्तं हो सिद्धि वज्र यथा सुखं, oṃ surati samaya staṃ ho siddhi vajra yathā sukhaṃ, Om, excellent samaya, Hum, accomplishment vajra, as you like it）. Recite: ༀ་བཛྲ་སརྦ་པཉྩ་ཨ་མྲྀ་ཏ་ཨུ་ད་ཀ་ཧཱུྃ།（Tibetan, ॐ वज्र सर्व पञ्चामृत उदक हूँ, oṃ vajra sarva pañcāmṛta udaka hūṃ, Om, Vajra, all five nectar water, Hum）.
