16. If a Bhikshuni has a non-relative woman spin wool and then uses it herself. 17. If a Bhikshuni, without permission to touch gold, silver, etc., touches or allows others to touch them out of greed, and takes possession of them. 18. There are three ways of allowing: letting the donor acknowledge oneself as the owner; letting the agent acknowledge oneself as the owner; and through blessing. If a Bhikshuni lends money to a non-relative householder at interest and receives more than one 'Kuru' of interest from it. 19. If a Bhikshuni profits by trading grains or cloth, etc., other than precious gems, with a non-relative householder. 20. If a Bhikshuni holds an unblessed bowl for more than ten days. 21. If a Bhikshuni holds a surplus bowl. 22. If a Bhikshuni has a non-relative weaver weave cloth for her without pay and obtains it. 23. If a householder intends to offer cloth to a Bhikshuni, but the owner does not allow it, and the Bhikshuni has more cloth offered than specified. 24. If a Bhikshuni gives her belongings to another Bhikshuni and then takes them back. 25. If a Bhikshuni takes possession of the gains offered to the summer retreat Sangha, or distributes them separately, or does not distribute them for the sake of the end of the retreat, these are the three 'Sngas hphyi' offenses. 26. If a Bhikshuni holds a blessed robe for more than six days. 27. If a Bhikshuni seeks a summer rain cloth too early, one month before the summer retreat begins, or holds it for more than half a month after the end of the retreat. 28. If a Bhikshuni converts an object dedicated to another to her own use. 29. If a Bhikshuni holds any of the four medicines beyond the prescribed time, these are the thirty 'Nissaggiya Pacittiya'. 30. The rule here is that if blessed, within the allowed time, even if the blessing is not explicitly stated, if accepted in the morning and held without dissolving the blessing in the afternoon; or within the allowed time period, blessed in the morning and exceeding the end of that night; or the blessed seven-day medicine at the dawn of the eighth day; or the lifetime medicine, blessed until the disease is cured, is still held even after recovery from the disease. Among the thirty 'Nissaggiya Pacittiya', in the time of atonement, it is necessary to completely abandon the two items of reclaiming the blessed object and searching for the bowl. For the others, it is sufficient to abandon them one day in advance. The reason why these thirty are called 'Nissaggiya Pacittiya' is that for a Bhikshuni who has committed these offenses, atonement must be made by abandoning the objects involved; if not atoned, she will fall into the evil realms. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Because the reason for causing downfall is stated as such. The fourth category is the ninety individual offenses: that is, the defeat caused by lying, the minor remaining offenses without basis, knowingly saying what is not Dharma as Dharma, and what is Dharma as not Dharma, which is a serious lie. During the Uposatha, when asked 'Are you all pure?', the offenses committed by not speaking, and knowingly lying and understanding its meaning, except for showing favoritism, mocking, giving little food, slandering, and despising. 1. Speaking unkind words to other monks that are considered faults in that place and time, 2. Dividing harmonious monks with divisive words, 3. Creating dissatisfaction by re-igniting disputes between monks that have been previously resolved, 4. Teaching women more than five or six Dharma verses without a monastic companion, 5. Reciting Dharma verses with a contemptuous attitude together with those who have not taken full ordination, 6. Speaking negatively about the places of defeat and remaining offenses to monks without being appointed, 7. Unnecessarily speaking about the virtues of superhuman qualities to laypeople, 8. A monk not tolerating another monk giving a small amount of food to others, saying 'This person is showing favoritism to friends', 9. Speaking contemptuous words such as 'What is the use of this precept?', 10. Destroying barley seeds, etc., 11. Although one has good dwellings, etc., mocking others by saying 'This person has bad dwellings', 12. When a monk discusses downfall in order to correct himself, but pretends not to hear and speaks incorrectly, 13. Leaving without tidying up one's dwelling, 14. Not tidying up one's seat, 15. Expelling a monk due to anger, 16. Causing harm to other monks through body and speech and suppressing them, 17. Erecting sharp bed legs on top of the Sangha's monastery, causing perforations, 18. Watering with water containing living beings, 19. Building a monastery with four behaviors and more than three stories with plaster on an unstable foundation, 20. Teaching Dharma to nuns without being appointed, 21. Even if appointed as a teacher of nuns, teaching Dharma until sunset in fear, 22. Being jealous of the teacher of nuns --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
