81. While wandering, passing through three houses and harming the umbrella of the Sangha. 82. Entering the king's palace at night. 83. During the Uposatha, disparaging the precepts with deceptive words such as 'Now I know the Pratimoksha'. 84. Repairing a valuable needle. 85. Repairing a bed leg longer than one cubit. 86. Stuffing cotton wool into the Sangha's bed and sewing it. 87. Excess bedding. 88. Excess bandage covering a sore. 89. Excess summer coarse cloth. The dimensions of the bedding are three cubits in length and two cubits and six fingers in width; the dimensions of the bandage covering a sore are six cubits in length and three cubits in width; the dimensions of the coarse cloth are nine cubits in length and three cubits and eighteen fingers in width. 90. If one holds a Dharma garment that exceeds the dimensions of the Sugata's (Buddha's) Dharma garment, one commits a downfall. The dimensions of the Buddha's Dharma garment are five cubits in length according to the Buddha's own cubit (equivalent to fifteen cubits of an ordinary person) and three cubits in width according to the Buddha's cubit (equivalent to nine cubits of an ordinary person). Therefore, there is a reason why these ninety are called 'only downfalls': because if violated, they cause one to fall into the lower realms, and confessing these offenses does not require prior abandonment (of the object used). Fifth, the four offenses to be confessed to others are: 1. Begging for food from a non-relative Bhikkhuni and eating it. 2. When Bhikkhus are invited by a householder for a meal, not allowing the Bhikkhunis to be seated in order, but the host specifies 'Please offer to this one,' and the Bhikkhus eat without preventing it. 3. The Sangha unanimously agrees through a Karma to prohibit begging for food from certain householders, but if necessary, it may be allowed. However, a Bhikkhu still begs for and eats timely food from the house belonging to those householders. 4. In a monastery with dangers, the Sangha appoints a Bhikkhu to patrol, but the Bhikkhu eats food without performing the duty of guarding, committing an offense to be confessed to others. These are called 'to be confessed to others' because they are objects to be confessed to others in the form of lamentation. Sixth, the one hundred and twelve offenses of wrong-doing: Regarding the manner of wearing the lower garment: not sewn into a circle; too tight; too loose; like an elephant's trunk; like a tala leaf; like a husk of grain; like a snake's hood. Regarding the manner of wearing the upper garment: the Samghati not sewn into a circle; too long. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
