They also consider these to be emanations. Dividing this further, there are five categories: the Great Brahma school, the Sound Brahma school, the Reasoning school, the Vedic End school, and the Secret school. The root teacher of the first is Brahma, etc. Names for this include Brahma school, Brahmin school, Vedic school, etc. They believe that the god Brahma is born from the lotus in the navel of Vishnu, and others believe he is born from an egg emanated by Ishvara. Brahma has seven names in chronological order: in the first kalpa (aeon) he is called Self-Born, in the second Brahma, in the third Lord of Beings, in the fourth Lotus-Born, in the fifth Four-Faced, in the sixth Forefather, and in the seventh Golden Essence. Therefore, the god Brahma created eight mothers of the world: the mother of the sun who created the gods, the mother of charity who created the asuras, the mother of the nagas who created the nagas, and the mother of the garudas who created the garudas. Furthermore, they believe that Brahma created the Brahmin caste from his mouth, the Kshatriya caste from his shoulders, the Vaishya caste from his thighs, and the Shudra caste from his feet. They believe that the four Vedas—the sacrificial Veda, the expressive Veda, the poetic Veda, and the protective Veda—arose from Brahma's four faces. They also believe that these four treatises were not created by anyone, but are beginningless, endless, eternal, unchanging, and natural like space. They believe that performing a horse sacrifice can bring heavenly bliss and attain the status of the great god Brahma. The root teacher of the second school is Eternal Peaceful Brahma, etc. Names for this include Sound Brahma school, Grammarians, Phonologists, etc. They believe that the true essence of Sound Brahma, which is the basis of various containers and essences, is the long syllable Om (唵), which exists in ultimate reality. However, due to the obscuration of ignorance, beings perceive various forms of grasping and clinging. They believe that the method of attaining liberation is external sacrifice, i.e., sacrificing livestock; and internal sacrifice, i.e., the emission of semen produced in the female genitalia. They believe that the essence of liberation is the emptiness and bliss experienced at the moment of ejaculation. The root teachers of the third school are Vishnu and Nyaya, etc. There are also many names. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

They are called 'king's diviners' and 'debaters' and so on. The nature of the 'self' (Tibetan: བདག་, Sanskrit Devanagari: आत्मन्, Sanskrit Romanization: ātman, Chinese literal meaning: self) according to the Samkhya school is: having a mind-like consciousness, a non-material nature of awareness, a constant nature, a substance independent of the body, an experiencer of happiness and suffering at different times, and although the state is impermanent, the essence is indivisible. They believe that because defilements enter the nature of the mind, there is no one who has completely eliminated sins. Because knowledge is infinite, there is no omniscient one. Therefore, they believe that statements such as eliminating existing faults and generating previously non-existent qualities through the path are not true. The root teacher of the fourth school is Brahma (Tibetan: ཚངས་པ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: ब्रह्म, Sanskrit Romanization: brahman, Chinese literal meaning: Brahma) and so on. Names include Brahma, Brahmin (Tibetan: བྲམ་ཟེ་པ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: ब्राह्मण, Sanskrit Romanization: brāhmaṇa, Chinese literal meaning: Brahmin), and Veda (Tibetan: རིག་བྱེད་པ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: वेद, Sanskrit Romanization: veda, Chinese literal meaning: Veda). They believe that the 'self' is: the creator of all sentient and non-sentient beings, pervading all, unique because it has no parts, constant because it never decays, immortal because it has no beginning and end, having the color of the sun, transcending the darkness, and possessing many other characteristics. They believe that such a 'self' with the color of the sun is the creator of the arising and ceasing of the world and beings, the bondage and liberation of beings, happiness and suffering, the essence of all gods, and also the nature of the Great Lord (Tibetan: དབང་ཕྱུག་ཆེན་པོ, Sanskrit Devanagari: महेश्वर, Sanskrit Romanization: maheśvara, Chinese literal meaning: Great Lord). When relying on meditation, through the power of cultivating the 'self', the nature of the 'self' is seen as golden in color, and happiness, suffering, samsara, and nirvana become equal, then liberation is attained. The root teacher of the fifth school is also Brahma and so on. Their name is the Vedic secretist. They believe that relying on the Veda called 'Nectar Drop', the 'self' is a real existence with a constant, indivisible, and unique nature of awareness, and apart from this difference, the overall philosophy is the same as the Brahma schools. The fourth school includes five aspects: the identification of the root teacher, the theoretical system of the doctrine, the name, the etymological explanation, and the characteristics of the doctrine. The first is: King Supreme, Holy One Worthy of Offerings, Teacher Supreme, etc. The second is: the treatise on the spreading stars, and various calculations written by the Holy One Worthy of Offerings, etc. The third is: the naked ones, the exhausters, those who wear the directions, those who wear the sky, the royal school, the worthy-of-offerings school, the ash school, the wanderers, etc. The fourth is: because they do not wear clothes on their bodies, they are the naked ones, and because they exhaust sins through asceticism, they are the exhausters. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
