The key to fully manifesting the complete path and fruit of the two truths is the supreme need. Here, as the occasion arises, in terms of external forms, the so-called 'world' refers to the circular wind mandala centered on Mount Meru, existing in the empty space. Because it exists in the empty space, it is called the 'sphere of space'; because the sun and moon move, it is called the 'sphere of the sun and moon'; because the stars move, it is called the 'sphere of the stars'; directly facing these is the 'sphere of the earth'. The so-called 'mansions' refer to the twenty-eight constellations that revolve counterclockwise around the edge of Mount Meru or the empty space, with each constellation occupying a quarter of the area, called a 'constellation foot'. Among them, the four feet of Lou, the four feet of Wei, and one foot of Mao, these nine constellation feet are called the 'Aries mansion', and so on, sequentially counterclockwise in the empty space, with every nine constellation feet forming a mansion, namely Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces. These mansions rotate clockwise around Mount Meru once a day. The reason for naming these mansions in this way is that lambs are born in the (Aries) mansion, oxen plow the fields in the (Taurus) mansion, livestock become aroused in the (Gemini) mansion, frogs croak in the (Cancer) mansion, lions mate in the (Leo) mansion, maidens are radiant in the (Virgo) mansion, tea and butter are weighed on scales in the (Libra) mansion, scorpions enter their burrows in the (Scorpio) mansion, bows are strong in the (Sagittarius) mansion, Capricorn opens its mouth to the sun in the (Capricorn) mansion, the wine in the bottle is flavorful in the (Aquarius) mansion, and fish swim in the water in the (Pisces) mansion. Alternatively, it is said that when the sun is located directly facing these things on Mount Meru, it is named after these things. The constellations are also arranged sequentially counterclockwise, up to the Southern Boat constellation, with each constellation foot occupying fifteen hours. There are generally seven planets, plus Rāhu (藏文:སྒྲ་གཅན,梵文天城体:राहु,梵文罗马拟音:Rāhu,汉语字面意思:罗睺) and comets, making a total of ten. The tail of Rāhu is called Kalagni in the Kalachakra, and he is the leader of the Asuras, with a body of seven hundred yojanas, but he can transform into six hundred and eighty thousand yojanas. The seven major planets are the sons of the gods of the Four Great Kings Heaven, and the twenty-eight constellations are the daughters of the gods of the First Desire Heaven. Therefore, when these two meet, there are auspicious and inauspicious sayings, which can be used to predict the good and bad fortune of the world. The head and tail of Rāhu move clockwise, while the sun moves counterclockwise, completing twelve mansions in one year. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mercury, Venus, and Mars move slowly from the left side of the sun at their respective speeds. Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn move quickly from the right side of the sun at their respective speeds. These six planets revolve counterclockwise around Mount Meru. Planets have four types of motion: fast motion, slow motion, direct motion, and retrograde motion. The twenty-eight constellations do not have their own speed but rely on wind power to rotate once a day. Generally, just as the earth is divided into twelve regions, the sky is also divided into twelve regions, forming the twelve zodiac signs. In the first month of the Tibetan calendar, the sun is in Aquarius, approximately above the right side of the northern continent. In the second month, the sun is in Pisces, in the first region of the eastern continent. In the third month, the sun is in Aries, in the middle region of the eastern continent. In the fourth month, the sun is in Taurus, in the third region of the eastern continent. In the fifth month, the sun is in Gemini, in the first region of the southern continent. In the sixth month, the sun is in Cancer, in the middle region of the southern continent. In the seventh month, the sun is in Leo, in the third region of the southern continent. In the eighth month, the sun is in Virgo, in the first region of the western continent. In the ninth month, the sun is in Libra, in the middle region of the western continent. In the tenth month, the sun is in Scorpio, in the third region of the western continent. In the eleventh month, the sun is in Sagittarius, in the first region of the northern continent. In the twelfth month, the sun is in Capricorn, approximately above the middle region of the northern continent. This is because the sun travels at the speed of a chariot pulled by seven horses, completing one revolution in a year. The moon travels at the speed of a chariot pulled by five horses, completing twelve revolutions in a year. Generally, the moon, sun, and stars all travel in the wind sphere, which has a circumference of four hundred thousand yojanas (a unit of distance in ancient India) and a diameter of seventy-five yojanas. They are suspended in it like dust, so they can rely on wind power to rotate once a day. As for the stars, this may not necessarily be the case. For example, Ursa Major or the Seven Sages, the outcast star, the North Star or Memory Star, and Orion or the Seven People, are at different heights, so they move outward. The beginning of the zodiac is Aries and Pisces, so the beginning of the year is calculated from there. If described in terms of units of time, the sun travels through the Four Continents at its own speed, thus determining the time of the zodiac signs. Each zodiac sign time is approximately less than half a 'yu' (an ancient Indian unit of time). The sun relies on wind power to travel through the twelve zodiac signs and the Four Continents in a day, thus determining the time of a day, which is approximately thirty 'yu'. The waxing and waning of the moon determine the date time, which is approximately thirty-five 'yu'. Therefore, these three units of time differ in length. The calculation of the length of time is as follows: six breaths are one 'chu-srong' (an ancient Indian unit of time), sixty 'chu-srong' are one hour, and sixty hours are one day. Alternatively, three hundred breaths are one hour, and sixty hours are one day. In any case, a day is calculated in this way. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
