The impure is transformed by Ishvara (藏文:དབང་ཕྱུག་,meaning Ishvara), below is nine, obtaining shares through various merits. The two are mixed, and in the inferior, the gains and losses of the hours are reversed. In the upper aggregate, it is doubled. After giving, it is divided by constellations, and the remainder does not belong to the enjoyment of the sun's constellations, etc. Thus it is. Secondly, there is a reason for placing the pure moon in three places: the upper position is for the constellations, the middle position is for the hours, and the lower position is set up to identify the debt of purification. The middle position is multiplied by eleven, which is the sun's day. The constant enjoyment of one day and night includes four hours, twenty-one moments, five breaths, and nine instants. Although there is a slight deficiency of one, for the sake of convenience, it is counted as nine. Four instants are given as remainder, and when carried upward, it produces four hours and twenty-two moments. To accomplish this as the constant enjoyment of one month, both are multiplied by thirty, and when carried upward by their respective cycles, it produces two constellations and eleven hours. Therefore, it is multiplied by those eleven hours. If this is the case, giving four instants for each day, isn't there a fault of impurity? Thinking thus, before thirty-nine months have passed, the debt is not yet full for one hour, so it does not cause great fault. After thirty-nine months have passed, the debt is full for one hour, so to purify it, the fault of dividing the lower position by thirty-nine purifies the middle position. The purification of that is the mixing of the two, which is the abandonment of the transformation of the remainder. On the previous day when Gyalkas (藏文:རྒྱལ་དཀས་) made the calendar, there were twenty-six in the position of the sun's constellation and fifty-eight in the hours. If two hours are born on top of that, the cycle of the constellation is full. Therefore, it is because of abandoning the transformation of the remainder on top of the future enjoyment. Also, the twenty-six constellations and fifty-eight hours are purely mixed with the remainder of the calculation as before, so these two points are the same. Also, the pure moon is placed in five positions. To accomplish the constant enjoyment of one day and night of the sun, for the sake of the constant enjoyment of one month, it is multiplied by thirty, which produces two constellations, ten hours, fifty-eight moments, two breaths, and ten instants. Multiplying the five positions of the pure moon in order with those, abandoning the remainder, and carrying upward with their respective cycles is also pure. Dividing by sixty, the remainder is the same as before. The gain and loss are reversed when the hours and constellations are full.

上面的乘数行星是1,小时是32,整数是2,部分是1,太阳星是2,小时是11,这些都加到前一个月的dhruva(梵文,Dhruva,罗马转写:Dhruva,汉语意思:极星)上,因此很容易理解下一个月的dhruva(梵文,Dhruva,罗马转写:Dhruva,汉语意思:极星)是如何依次出现的。 那么,为什么不加上三个chusrang(量词)等等呢?这是因为在dhruva(梵文,Dhruva,罗马转写:Dhruva,汉语意思:极星)的情况下,每个月都有超过10个chusrang(量词),所以这是为了抵消它。如果非常精确地计算,则将日期的恒常盈余59个小时和3个chusrang(量词)等等分别乘以相应的日期数,然后加到行星日期的dhruva(梵文,Dhruva,罗马转写:Dhruva,汉语意思:极星)上。

Therefore, they need to be added on top. Moreover, first the upper digit needs to be multiplied by two, because half of the star position of the upper digit has been determined. The minute fractions of the constant surplus of the date and sun, if accumulated to many hours over a long period of time, need to be added or subtracted based on rational judgment. The commentary on the Tantra only mentions breaths and so on for the constant surplus, so I wonder if it is okay not to calculate the minute fractions. Fourth, the Tantra says: 'A planet gives to a planet, a king gives twice the hours,' and so on. The multiplier planet above is 1, the hours are 32, the whole numbers are 2, the part is 1, the sun star is 2, the hours are 11, and these are added to the dhruva (Sanskrit, Dhruva, Romanization: Dhruva, Chinese meaning: pole star) of the previous month, so it is easy to understand how the dhruva (Sanskrit, Dhruva, Romanization: Dhruva, Chinese meaning: pole star) of the next month appears in sequence. Regarding the determination of each date, there are five aspects: the planetary date, the solar star, the lunar star, and the determination of the conjunction. First, the Tantra says: 'Dates give, abandon, and give again, they are located at the quarters of planets and hours,' and so on. The meaning is that the number of the date is added to the position of the planet, and the same number of the date is subtracted from the position of the hour. In reality, each date will add 59 hours of the constant surplus of the date. So, why not add three chusrangs (unit of measurement) and so on? This is because in the case of dhruva (Sanskrit, Dhruva, Romanization: Dhruva, Chinese meaning: pole star), there are more than 10 chusrangs (unit of measurement) each month, so this is to offset it. If calculated very precisely, the constant surplus of the date, 59 hours and 3 chusrangs (unit of measurement) and so on, are each multiplied by the corresponding date number, and then added to the dhruva (Sanskrit, Dhruva, Romanization: Dhruva, Chinese meaning: pole star) of the planetary date. Giving the integer date number means that each date uses one-fourth of a month. Dividing it by 14 is because the quarter position of the month is determined to be 14, so it is divided by it. If there is no remainder, or the remainders are equal, then the reason it exists in the sequence is that the remainder means that a quarter has passed. If zero appears, then it is located at the first quarter of the sequence; if two appears, then it returns to the non-sequence, and then is located in the sequence again; if four appears, then it also returns to the non-sequence and is located in the sequence. It cannot exceed four, because the maximum value of the date is 30, plus the maximum value of the integer 27, which gives 57. Dividing it by 14, so it cannot exceed four. The remainder is one. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
