As it is said in the scripture: 'The lotus moon completely abides, the shape of crocodile teeth, the root comes from the crocodile's mouth.' From this, it is known that, especially regarding the number of prongs (of the vajra), it is said in the scripture: 'Whatever becomes thick, the prong is the nature of wisdom.' Therefore, to match the number of the five wisdoms, it should only be made with five prongs. The shape of the central prong should be made like a square. It is also said in the Sambuta Tantra: 'Liberate beings from the wisdom vajra.' This means that if one can understand and hold the samaya vajra with five prongs, which represent the five pure wisdoms, one can be liberated from samsara. This shows the samaya vajra. Regarding the characteristics of the samaya bell, although it is not explicitly stated in the two tantras, in the first 'seat of combining key points,' after explaining the characteristics of the five-pronged vajra, immediately when explaining the characteristics of the bell, it says: 'Above, the lotus vajra, should be thought of as before.' This indicates the bell characterized by a half vajra with five prongs. As for the shape, size, material, etc. of the bell, generally follow the usual regulations, with the special feature that between the two vajra chains, a half-net or wheel-shaped chain can be made, and the top should be made in the shape of a half vajra with five prongs. Furthermore, in the Tattvasamgraha, regarding the classification of vajras, if viewed from the perspective of purification, the upper and lower five prongs represent the purification of the five afflictions and the five skandhas, and the central circle represents the purification of their dharmata. If viewed from the perspective of the subject of purification, it is said in the scripture: 'The deity has twenty-seven deities.' The upper and lower five prongs each have five deities, totaling ten; the upper and lower sixteen lotus petals total twenty-six; the central Vajrasattva Buddha father and mother. Thus, there are a total of twenty-seven deities. In the oral tradition, there is also a saying that the central Buddha father and mother are counted separately, resulting in twenty-eight deities. Further subdivided, it is said in the scripture: 'The center is the wisdom sattva.' Therefore, the center is Vajrasattva. The upper five prongs represent the nature of the five Dhyani Buddhas, completely pure. In the Dakini Tantra, it says: 'The center of everything is Vairochana, the east is Akshobhya, the southern prong is Ratnasambhava, the west is Amitabha, the north is Amoghasiddhi. The four prongs are like the earth gods.' The lower five prongs represent the nature of the five goddesses. 'The dakinis reside on the four prongs of the center and east, etc. The east is Vajra...' --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

'Je Khandroma' (杰空行母)。

'Je Khandroma'. In the north resides 'Jikma' (the Terrifying Mother), in the west resides 'Rolangma' (the Corpse-Raising Mother), in the south resides 'Tumo' (the Fierce Woman), and in the center is 'Yeshe Khandroma' (the Wisdom Dakini). One should contemplate the one with the Vajra of Vows.' It is said. Relying on the navel chakra, the eight lotus petals above represent the eight branches of the path to enlightenment, purified as the nature of the eight Bodhisattvas. Therefore, the eight lotus petals are purified as the essence of the branches of enlightenment, and placed in their proper positions, they should be circumambulated. The lotus (hands) of Avalokiteśvara, (eyes) Maitreya, (feet) Akashagarbha, (tongue) Samantabhadra, (nose) Vaishravana, (body) Vajrapani, (mind) Manjushri, (speech) Nivarana-Vishkambhin, (merit) Kshitigarbha. These eight deities should be contemplated on the lotus petals as they are. It is said. The eight lotus petals below, who are the eight goddesses on the lotus? They should be placed in their proper positions as they are. Vajra Hook Woman, Vajra Rope Woman, Vajra Lock Woman, Vajra Bell Woman. These four goddesses reside on the lotus petals of the four directions. On the four lotus petals of the intermediate directions, there are also four goddesses. Stimulating Woman, Jewel Lamp Goddess, Vajra Song Woman, and Invincible Woman, all should be placed on the lotus petals. Thus, the nature of the eight goddesses is purified. Furthermore, the eight lotus petals symbolize wisdom, and the moon mandala symbolizes skillful means. Therefore, it symbolizes the union of skillful means and wisdom, and the rotation of the Makara's head. The horns symbolize Nirvana. In short, what is symbolized by the Vajra, the objects to be purified are Samsara, and the deities who purify are Nirvana. Understanding that the two are mutually cause and effect, of the same taste, or knowing that the essence of one's own mind is one, is called 'Samsara and Nirvana are inseparable', which is the ultimate reality. This is what I have well explained. Secondly, regarding the Suchness of the Bell, there are two aspects: the Suchness of Sound and the Suchness of Form. First is the Suchness of Sound. The 'Sambuta Tantra' says: 'The Suchness that unfolds wisdom will be heard by all the deities.' Here, wisdom is emptiness, and unfolding wisdom refers to the sound of the bell, which symbolizes its meaning. The sound of the bell reveals that all phenomena are emptiness, unconditioned, and naturally pure. Its necessity is that, as the 'Sambuta Tantra' says: 'Until the end of the realm of space, it abides in the heart of enlightenment. All sentient beings in the ten directions will hear this bell sound.' --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
