May I show the act of taming, show the complete perfect enlightenment, show the turning of the wheel of Dharma, In all four continents, may I show all the deeds of the Buddhas, show until complete Nirvana, show the placement of the relics. May I, after attaining Bodhi, teach the Dharma with just one word. For those beings who should be tamed by the Hearer Vehicle, may they teach the Dharma of the Vinaya Pitaka with the words of the Hearer Vehicle; for those beings who should be tamed by the Solitary Buddha, may they teach the Dharma with the words of the Buddha Vehicle; for those beings who should be tamed by the unsurpassed Great Vehicle, may they teach the Dharma with the words of the Great Vehicle; for those beings who are separated from the Sangha, may they teach the Dharma with the words of generosity; for those beings who lack merit and seek the bliss of the heavens, may they teach the Dharma with the words of morality; for those who fear each other, have malicious minds, and are filled with extreme hatred, may they teach the Dharma with the words of loving-kindness; May those who kill show compassion; may those who are overwhelmed by jealousy and stinginess teach the Dharma with words of joy; may those who are intoxicated with the pride of form and formlessness teach the Dharma with words of equanimity; may those who are intoxicated with the pride of desire teach the Dharma with words of non-reality; may those beings of the Great Vehicle who are disturbed by arrogance teach the Dharma with words of mindfulness of breathing in and out; May those of little wisdom teach the Dharma with words of dependent origination; may those of little learning teach the Dharma with words of non-abandonment and retention without loss; may those who are distressed by wrong views teach the Dharma with words of emptiness; may those who are ruined by pervasive conceptualization teach the Dharma with words of signlessness; May... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Those who have deficiencies in discipline should teach the Dharma by proclaiming the absence of desire; those whose minds are impure should teach the Dharma by proclaiming the purity of mind; those whose conduct is mixed and impure should teach the Dharma by proclaiming the non-forgetting of Bodhicitta (enlightenment mind). Those whose practice is exhausted and whose enthusiasm has waned should teach the Dharma by proclaiming the unvanquished; those whose excellent intentions have greatly diminished should teach the Dharma by proclaiming the unstable. Similarly, apply this: those who possess afflicted minds should proclaim virtuous minds; those who do not abandon virtue should proclaim various manifestations; those who are devoted to the works of Mara (demon) should proclaim enlightenment itself; those who have truly entered the ultimate truth should proclaim the supreme manifestation; those whose minds have weakened due to various afflictions should proclaim liberation; those who have correctly entered without straying from the path should proclaim transformation; those who possess minds that marvel at the Great Vehicle should proclaim transformation. To Bodhisattvas (enlightenment being) who are weary of Samsara (cyclic existence), one should proclaim joy; to those who have not realized qualities, grounds, and wisdom, one should proclaim ignorance; to those who are content with other roots of virtue, one should proclaim learning; to those who do not cling to each other and treat all equally, one should proclaim unobstructed light; to those who have correctly entered difficult tasks, one should proclaim engagement in activities; to those who are frightened by retinues, one should proclaim the realization of a lion; to those whose minds are oppressed by the four Maras, one should proclaim courage; to sentient beings for whom Buddha-fields have not appeared, one should proclaim the array of light; to those who are attached and angry, one should proclaim the king of mountains; to those whose Dharma light is obscured, one should proclaim the ornament of the victory banner's peak; to those who lack great wisdom, one should proclaim possessing a lamp; to those who are in the darkness of delusion, one should proclaim the sun lamp; to those who strive for the definitive words of exhaustion, one should proclaim the source of qualities.
