Possessing power, protecting the realm, in fierce wrathful form. Seizing the enemy's strength, radiant and mighty lord. Laughing ha ha, arise from the charnel grounds. Greatly wrathful one, courageous and terrifying Brahmin form. Lord of a million assemblies of Mamos (female protectors) and Dakinis (sky dancers). Wandering everywhere in places where corpses burn. Arise from the charnel ground of the cool grove. Merely seeing it steals the enemy's life, the cruel one. Rakshasa (demon) with four faces roaring in wrath. Emanation upon emanation, filling the three realms with a million emanations. Arise from the mountainside of the southern boat-holding mountain. From the black city of burning corpses, sitting majestically on a throne of piled corpses. Surrounded by the pride of zombies, the great black-robed one. Arise from the island of Simhala (Lion Country) in the west. Taking on an extremely terrifying, powerful, and fierce form, leading the armies of all the gods and demons of existence. Cruel one, uttering the sound of kṣiṁ kṣiṁ, great general. Please arise from the place of Mount Gangtise (Mount Kailash)! From the ravine of Devikota in India, the butcher of enemies enslaved by the yogini Gnyan-lo the Great. Please arise from the place of burning flames, Darlung! Mantra-holder and powerful Darma Gyaltsen, having directly seen your face, now you, the yogic protector of Khau, residing on the rock. Please arise from the rock fortress of Gram-stod Khau! Manjushri's emanation, Jetsun Sakya Pandita, Vajradhara (holder of vajra) the powerful Lodro Gyaltsen Pal, the great protector of the teachings relied upon and practiced. Hūṃ! Bhyo! From the vast expanse of Dharmadhatu Great Bliss, with a wrathful countenance and unbearable, awe-inspiring demeanor, you face the wicked, oath-breaking enemies. Merely seeing you snatches the life of the enemy; you are the great butcher. Your form is like a demon smeared with a billion layers of darkness, blood constantly flowing, your red face wide open, sharp white fangs fiercely gnashing. A red tongue like flashing lightning rolls, making a terrifying sound. You devour the oath-breaking, naked, red corpses in large gulps. Merely seeing your face extracts the red heart of the enemy. The light of your hateful eyes incinerates the armies of obstructors. The sound of your roar crushes the heads of the oath-breakers. Your Ha-Ha laughter makes the three realms tremble and shake. The Hūṃ Hūṃ sound crushes the heads of the wicked. The Kṣiṃ Kṣiṃ laughter enslaves the eight classes of beings. The Phaṭ Phaṭ sound strives to accomplish the work of destroying enemies. In your right hand, the fiercely blazing sky-iron curved knife cuts the life-force of enemies and obstructors, and slices their red hearts. In the wide expanse of the first skull-cup in your left hand, you drink and revel in the boiling blood of oath-breakers. With the sharp trident and blazing sword, you tear the heads, bodies, and entrails of enemies into pieces. You hold a rosary of conch shells and a precious vase filled with nectar. The sound of the leg-bone trumpet calls the ḍākinīs of the three places. You are the great Black Protector who guards the teachings of the Buddhas and protects the land, the enemy-god of yogis, possessing great power and courage. You are a terrifying embodiment, the executioner of the enemies of the teachings. You steal the power of enemies, the great butcher of oath-breakers. Do not be distracted! Do not be distracted! Accomplish the entrusted task! Act! Act! Accomplish this fierce action! Curse! Curse! Cut the life-force of oath-breakers! Devour! Devour! Devour the flesh and red heart of the enemy! Bhyo! The terrifying ogresses, intoxicated with blood, shake their bloody hair and instantly roam through the three thousand worlds. They revel in the blood and flesh of enemies. The time has come for the four great blood-drinking mothers. The butchers who extract the red hearts of enemies, the red and black attendants who carry out the task of taking life, the four generals who reduce the enemy's land to ashes, the male and female ghouls who destroy enemies—the time has come! The protectors of the pure lineage who uphold the Dharma wheel, the black demons and yakshas who seize the breath of oath-breakers, the Yamarajas who slaughter life, and the eight classes of armies who protect the land—act! Act! Dharma protectors, the time has come to fulfill your vows! The powerful guardians of the land and their retinues, when you engage in the fierce action of subjugation, the male and female rakshasas who feast on corpses, merely seeing them extracts the red hearts of enemies.
