And, by the power of offering and praying to you. (Tibetan: སོགས།) Then, make up for any omissions and recite the Hundred Syllable Mantra. The confession is as follows: Protector, possessing great compassion, please listen to me. We, as beginners, due to the influence of dullness and agitation, causing unclear samadhi, impure mantras, incomplete or excessive rituals, and not paying attention to cleanliness, etc., all of these, we beseech the noble ones with great compassion to forgive, and bless us so that they do not become obstacles. In this degenerate age, beings' actions are base, ignorance and afflictions are mixed, the intentions of the noble ones are not fulfilled, please forgive all of this. Bound by stinginess, the unwise, offerings are inferior and poorly arranged, actions are impure and not accomplished, please forgive all of this. The main ability is not possessed, incomplete and with contradictions, etc., any things that should have been done but were not done, please forgive all of this. Unmindful actions are impure, not according to the rituals spoken of in the tantras, unable to do and with mistakes, please forgive all of this. Whatever I, due to ignorance and delusion, have caused faults in this virtuous act, therefore may it become the protector of beings, please forgive all of this. Not attained and degenerated, whatever I, due to ignorant mind, have done or encouraged others to do, please forgive all of this. Thus it is said. Then, if there is a support such as a painting, perform the stable abiding ritual: Protector, possessing great compassion, please listen to me. Until beings as vast as space are placed in the state of non-abiding nirvana, may these supports of the body, speech, and mind of the Buddhas, before the four great elements cause harm, may the wisdom beings abide stably, as the protector, refuge, and excellent companion of all beings. Oṃ supratiṣṭha vajrāye svāhā. (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་སུ་པྲ་ཏིཥྛ་བཛྲ་ཡེ་སྭཱཧཱ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: , Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ supratiṣṭha vajrāye svāhā, Literal meaning: Om, well established, vajra) Oṃ lokeśvara saparivāra arghaṃ āḥ hūṃ. (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་ལོ་ཀེ་ཤྭ་ར་ས་པ་རི་ཝཱ་ར་ཨརྒྷཾ་ཨཱཿཧཱུྃ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: , Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ lokeśvara saparivāra arghaṃ āḥ hūṃ, Literal meaning: Om, Lokeshvara, retinue, offering, Ah, Hum) Recite three times. If the deity does not remain, then recite: Om, you accomplish all benefits for beings, grant concordant attainments, even having gone to the Buddha-field, please come again. Oṃ vajra muḥ. (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་བཛྲ་མུཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: , Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ vajra muḥ, Literal meaning: Om, Vajra, Mu) Thus it is said. The wisdom beings of the front generation return to their own place, the samaya beings dissolve into oneself. In all activities, do not separate from the pride of being one face and four arms. Then recite the auspicious verses: Like the victorious banner, the king of power, (Tibetan: རྒྱལ་མཚན་རྩེ་མོ་དབང་གི་རྒྱལ་པོ་ལྟར།, Sanskrit Devanagari: , Sanskrit Romanization: , Literal meaning: ) One verse. The supreme teacher, worthy of offerings from gods and humans, (Tibetan: སྟོན་མཆོག་དམ་པ་ལྷ་མིའི་མཆོད་འོས་པ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: , Sanskrit Romanization: , Literal meaning: ) Homage to the Buddha, may there be happiness and well-being today.
