From 'Gu' to 'Head Ornament' as before. Those deities of power transform into the body of the venerable Tara, merging inseparably. Bless, Generate, Increase, Absorb). The purification and blessing of the offerings are as before. No Dharmapala is needed. Om Arya Tara Ah Pratichchha Svaha. Similarly, from 'padyam' to 'Shapta Pratichchha Svaha,' perform analogy and ringing of bells. From Dharmapala to 'Gods and demigods bow with their crowns to the lotus feet. Save us from all poverty, I prostrate to Tara, the mother.' Or, 'Having eyes like lightning' to 'I prostrate to the body of inseparable union, free from extremes.' Torma, purified with Amrita, cleansed with Svabhava. From emptiness, from Om arises a vast vessel made of precious jewels, filled with torma of excellent color, smell, taste, and power, transformed into a great ocean of nectar. Om Ah Hum, recite three times. Nama Sarva Buddha Bodhisattvanam Apratihata Shashananam He. Bhagavati Maha Sattva Sarva Buddha Avaloni Ma Vilamba, Ma Vilamba. Idam Balim Grihna Paya Sarva Visanchare Ye Svaha. Om Arya Tara, etc., offerings, and gods and demigods, etc., praises as before. Please, Bhagavan, protect me and all sentient beings from the eight great fears and sixteen great fears. Please liberate us from the ocean of suffering of samsara. Please bless us to generate love, compassion, and the exceptional Bodhicitta in our minds, and to quickly attain the state of perfect enlightenment, Buddhahood. Focus on the visualized deity in front, with the ten-syllable mantra Om Tare Tuttare, etc., the rosary wheel, and the long dharani and aspirations, as with the self-generation. The disciples offer water and offerings. Scatter the mandala grains from the front of the row, and collect them from the back of the row until finished. The master says: 'Now, for the benefit of all sentient beings equal to space, I shall attain the state of perfect Buddhahood. For that purpose, I shall listen to the profound permission and put it into practice.' Clearly generate the supreme Bodhicitta, requesting to listen. Therefore, here, if we summarize the sacred Dharma spoken by our teacher, the one with immeasurable compassion, there are two categories: Sutra and Tantra. In the Tantric vehicle, including the four classes of Tantra, belonging to the Anuttarayoga Tantra is the practice of the venerable Mother Tara. There are many lineages within that, here, the Tathagata who manifested enlightenment in the world of Sukhavati, Amitabha

Since he is omnipresent, it is inconceivable that he has transformed countless realms into the pure lands of other Buddhas. However, in this world of suffering, Avalokiteśvara (Chenrezig) emanates as a male to tame men, and Jetsun Drolma (Tara) emanates as a woman to benefit sentient beings. In the southern part of Jambudvipa (the continent of rose apples), on a mountain called Mount Grudzin, Arya Lokésvara (Noble World-Sound Lord) preaches the Dharma to an assembly more eminent than the gods. Below, Jetsunma Drolma (Venerable Tara) preaches the Dharma to an assembly more eminent than the nagas and asuras. These two principal emanations reside there. Furthermore, it is said that the mountain is filled with emanations of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. The Buddha also taught the tantras of Tara on that mountain. Merely by the name of the 'Tara Ocean Tantra,' sentient beings were benefited, and to prevent future sentient beings from falling into samsara, it sank into the ocean. Afterward, a smaller 'Ocean Tantra' was taught and similarly sank into the ocean. Then, for the benefit of future beings, the tantra called 'Tara Manifestation' and the realization of Avalokiteśvara Kurukullé were taught. Relying on the 'Manifestation Tantra,' Acharya Nagarjuna composed the sadhana (spiritual practice) of Tara and widely revealed it to sentient beings. Acharya Nagarjuna passed it on to his disciple Balingtapa, who passed it on to Sangye Yeshe Zhab, who passed it on to Marme Dze Zangpo, who passed it on to Pelde, who passed it on to Vimala Gupta. He passed it on to Rinchen Dorje, who passed it on to Ratnakirti, who passed it on to the great Pandapa. The way Gnyen Lotsawa (the translator) heard it was: Gnyen Lotsawa went to India as a child, but because of his youth, he did not study diligently and just wandered around. Once, he found an egg on the shore of a lake and took it. A leaf from a tree on the shore was blown by the wind into the lake, and a fish swallowed it and sank to the bottom of the lake. Suddenly, he heard a loud noise. When he returned home, he kept repeating 'pig ling, pig ling.' Acharya Mati said, 'Child, the leaf was swallowed by the fish, and there was a loud noise. Where did you go today? Tell me quickly! If you don't tell me, I fear a great disaster will occur.' He told them those things, but it was not good. 'That is the egg of a poisonous snake. Now it will come.' Having said that, the Acharya entered into meditation inside a hollow tree, the translator was placed behind the Tara statue, and a large copper pot smeared with ghee... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
