He is called "Bhagavan" because he has subdued with power. The two obscurations are the obscuration of afflictions and the obscuration of knowledge. The conceptual thoughts of the five poisons' own nature, and the mind attached to the antidote that purifies them. As stated in the Madhyāntavibhāga: "Whatever conceptual thoughts such as miserliness, that is said to be the obscuration of afflictions. Whatever conceptual thought of the three spheres, that is said to be the obscuration of knowledge." Thus it is said. The meaning of being inseparable from body and wisdom, possessing this is perfect realization. As stated in the Sambhuti Tantra: "Sovereignty and beautiful form, glory and fame, wisdom and diligence, possessing these six are called possessed." As it is said. Sovereignty is the purity of the essence of the Dharmakaya, which is the Dharmadhatu. Beautiful form is the Sambhogakaya, like a mirror. Glory is the Nirmanakaya, which is equality. Fame and wisdom are the Nirmanakaya, knowing as it is and as many as there are, accomplishing the meaning with activities, which is individual self-awareness. Diligence is the unchanging Vajra body itself, without moving from the Dhatu, limitless activities appear and accomplish the task. Perfection is the completion of all five, such as sovereignty, showing that it surpasses the wisdom of the noble learners. Some think that having the meaning of subduing is called "Bhagavan". "Gone beyond" means transcending all characteristics of samsara and nirvana, acceptance and rejection, existence and non-existence, and proliferation. As stated in the Avatamsaka Sutra: "Liberated from existence and peace, virtues are like the ocean without two sides, transcending all proliferations, Bhagavan is peaceful like the sky." Thus it is said. "Glory" is the self that does not move from the Dharmakaya realm, and the glory of others is the spontaneous manifestation of the Rupakaya from its own nature. As stated in the Elephant Heap Tantra: "As the Dharmakaya does not move, the five Rupakayas are spontaneously accomplished, therefore both meanings are completely fulfilled, glory spontaneously enjoys one taste." Thus it is said. Thus, the unceasing wheel of ornaments is densely arranged in the field of the unceasing nature of body, speech, and mind, without change, therefore abiding at all times.

Being excellent because the land is complete with the great enjoyment of self-appearance. "From the Secret of Wisdom:" "The nature is unmoving, spontaneously perfect, and the realm of activity is all excellent." Thus it is said. "There are five divisions. The one who manifests enlightenment before all others is the primordial teacher, Samantabhadra. From the Wondrous King Tantra:" "Before all beginnings, having perfected the self-appearing ground, because he was enlightened and expanded before, the primordial Samantabhadra appears as the teacher of all samsara and nirvana." Thus it is said. That is not to say that it is the emptiness of dharmata or the nature of mind itself, but because it shows the path of liberation to all Buddhas, it is called the primordial protector. Also from the All-Creating King: "Because I am before all the victorious ones, the father and mother who show the three bodies appear." And, "The teacher of teachers, the All-Creating King, I, the three bodies of the teacher who arose from me." Thus it is said. Because this teacher exists, the path of primordial liberation from samsara and nirvana is shown, and the victorious ones of the three times appear. If it were not so, it would not be reasonable for Buddhas to appear in the world, because all sentient beings are equal, and one cannot show the path to another, and it is not reasonable for some to become Buddhas and others to wander in samsara. The common vehicle speaks of beginninglessness and endlessness with regard to time and dharmata. In particular, from the Madhyamaka: "Because samsara and nirvana have no inherent nature, they have no beginning or end, and they are like the sky." Furthermore, if Buddhas and sentient beings arose separately from the beginning, the basis of samsara and nirvana would be different, and the connection of compassion would not be allowed. Therefore, this system is very clearly taught in the upper tantras of the unsurpassed secret mantra, and the great teachers Padmasambhava and Vimalamitra have well established it, and here too we pay homage to them. The suchness of the nature of all dharmas is the nature of Samantabhadra. The essence of the mind, the clear light, the nature of the three bodies inseparable, spontaneously accomplished as its own nature from this very moment, the Buddha from the beginning is the basis of Samantabhadra. By familiarizing oneself with the path, the realization of the non-duality of skillful means and wisdom.
