Its nature is uncertain; it is self-arisen and self-liberated, like water, waves, and the ocean. "Thoughts are inherently the sound of the Dharmakaya; there is no need to meditate on another Dharmadhatu. If you want to abandon thoughts and meditate on non-thought, appearances and samsara will all become enemies, causing liberation to be confused and fall. When whatever arises has no acceptance or rejection, appearances and samsara are the Great Completion, the realm of Samantabhadra." "Meditation and non-meditation are beyond calculation; this is the supreme and extraordinary path." As it is said. Now, for whatever awareness arises, do not make any modifications or fabrications, but stare at it with wide-open eyes and remain calm. Relax, let go, and be comfortable. Recognize the arising and maintain natural clarity. Release it without clinging and let it flow naturally without bias. Whatever thoughts arise, once recognized, they will naturally be liberated; this is the view. In this state, abide in clarity, joy, clarity, and non-thought; this is practice. At that time, act with external and internal non-clinging appearances; liberation in the unconditioned nature is the result. In the uncreated Dharma nature, great awareness arises spontaneously, self-liberated clarity, without clinging, is the basis of Samantabhadra's liberation. In the mind-essence that is inherently liberated, there is no need for liberation from the beginning; maintain ordinary awareness. Self-liberated, empty, and clear awareness is the pure land of the Three Kayas of Great Bliss Buddha. Everything abides in the state of the base Dharmakaya; there is no need for transformation, no need for antidotes, no good or bad. In the mirror of the mind of happiness and suffering, practice the power of yogic awareness. This is the pinnacle of all vehicles; it is the supreme path of the Vajra Essence. Thus, be steadfast. In this way, whatever thoughts arise, at the time of their own arising, completely cut them off and remain calm. The nature of awareness, the wisdom of emptiness, clarity, and freedom from elaboration, arises from within, self-liberated from the mind of desire. Subsequent thoughts are liberated from the awareness of thought-forms and formlessness, clarity, arising, and liberation, the great yoga that flows continuously like a river is naturally accomplished. Third, how to cultivate after the session: At dawn, as clear as the sky, in the union of non-conceptual wisdom of shamatha and vipashyana, adjust the posture and practice without moving the eyes. By this, the samadhi of bliss, clarity, and non-thought will spontaneously arise, and the divine eye and clairvoyance will be accomplished. In the morning, in the non-duality of arising and abiding, in the state of instantaneous self-liberation.

Thus, by training in the skill of wisdom, the realization of self-liberation vipassanā is enhanced. At noon, contemplate all dharmas as dreams, illusions, mirages, echoes, emanations, eye diseases, images, etc., and practice repeatedly. Practice impartial pure perception and devotion towards all sentient beings, and especially cultivate intense devotion towards the lama and others. In the state of non-inherent existence, swiftly accomplish supreme and common siddhis. In the afternoon, train yourself to gather your thoughts through the faults of samsara, the benefits of liberation, faith in karma and its results, the difficulty of obtaining leisure and endowment, impermanence of life, etc. In this way, you will not be attached to the appearances of this life, and you will diligently practice Dharma for the sake of future lives. In the evening, determine all appearances as mind, and in the state of various dream-like appearances, rest in equanimity in the state of bliss-clarity non-conceptuality. In this way, obstacles will naturally subside, and the nature of destroying the delusion of grasping at reality will be accomplished. At noon, when sleeping, fall asleep in the state of mind's unborn nature, without distraction, and dreams will appear as luminosity, clarity, and great bliss. Realize the realization of non-duality of day and night. Like this, if you abide diligently day and night, three things will occur: stagnation, straying, and scattering. No matter how long you meditate, if there is no progress, that is stagnation. If self-liberation stagnates and the skill of vipassanā is insufficient, do not let the mind stay anywhere, but like a silk banner moved by the wind, let it scatter and practice self-liberation, and the wisdom of vipassanā will suddenly arise in the continuum. If the clear, non-conceptual śamatha-vipassanā stagnates and there is little progress, then in a clear sky, turn your back to the sun, fix your eyes on the sky, and abide without distraction, and the wisdom of emptiness-clarity, free from elaboration, will arise from within. Furthermore, if śamatha stagnates, break it up with vipassanā and practice; if vipassanā stagnates, abide in the state of śamatha non-conceptuality, which is also very profound. Straying refers to wandering on various different wrong paths. When you first practice, even if you generate a little merit, if you are filled with pride and arrogance, you should contemplate the more excellent qualities; if you are attached to this life, you should forcefully practice impermanence; regarding the high and low of experiences
