Ra. The self-liberation of awareness itself arises and ceases simultaneously. At the time of ceasing, remain without alteration or corruption until the subsequent awareness arises. When it arises, do not continue the momentum of awareness without recognition. Rest in a relaxed manner. Maintain it in a state of distraction. Release it without grasping. Like pouring substances into a vessel with a hole in the bottom. Awareness is transparent, instantaneous self-liberation, complete liberation, this is it, become accustomed to being without fixation. In short, the view and meditation of arising liberation, spontaneously co-emergent, arise in the expanse of primordial purity, thus liberation occurs through the self-extinction of abandonment and attachment. Thus, appearances and existence arise as the nature of reality, so meditation is continuous. Awareness-emptiness is liberated in non-grasping, so afflictions are purified into wisdom. Qualities are spontaneously perfected, so it transcends effort, practice, and exertion. Everything arises as the natural state, so delusion and obscuration are purified in their own place, and the nature of reality is found within oneself. Therefore, all these present, raw thoughts and ideas are the intention of the Dharmakaya's own nature. As the great master said: For the inconceivable mind itself, do not meditate, rest flatly; meditating is also unobstructive, rest naturally; being distracted, do not be distracted, rest attentively; being distracted is also unobstructive, rest naturally; looking, do not look, rest still; looking is also unobstructive, rest openly; radiating, do not radiate, rest contracted; radiating is also unobstructive, rest here; gathering, do not gather, rest loosely; gathering is also unobstructive, rest steadily; tightening, do not tighten, rest loosely; tightening is also unobstructive, rest attentively; correcting, do not correct, rest naturally; correcting is also unobstructive, rest clearly; doing, do not do, rest without effort; doing is also unobstructive, rest spontaneously; negating, do not negate, rest naturally arising; negating is also unobstructive, rest unborn; being dejected, do not be dejected, rest joyfully; being dejected is also unobstructive, rest together; striving, do not strive, rest relaxedly; striving is also unobstructive, rest spontaneously arising; abiding, do not abide, rest without a basis; abiding is also unobstructive, rest freely. Thus it is said. Now, whatever awareness arises, rest in the spontaneously perfected, unaltered natural state, so there is no attachment to internal and external phenomena. There is no negation or affirmation for thoughts, so there is no interruption in the state of non-duality. Coarse thoughts do not scatter outwards, so it is liberated from the mind of desire. Radiating awareness arises in its natural state, so it transcends all the places of delusion of form and formlessness. This is

Since there is no clinging, peaceful abiding is spontaneously accomplished. Since wakefulness arises powerfully, insight is spontaneously accomplished. Since there is no separation or dispersion, union is spontaneously accomplished. In the instant of self-liberation, wisdom is spontaneously accomplished. Since there is no abiding, meditative absorption is spontaneously accomplished. Since arising and liberation are without clinging, primordial awareness is spontaneously accomplished. All faults arise from clinging, therefore liberation occurs in the emptiness of non-clinging. All qualities manifest in wisdom awareness, therefore practice increases further. The mind is perfected in its own nature, therefore it is said that in this life the supreme accomplishment of Mahamudra is attained. Unfabricated awareness, spontaneously arising, is the empty mother. Whatever arises, leave it in its own nature, as the great self-arising. The king without reliance, the blissful mind without clinging, has attained the firm foundation of the unborn Dharmakaya. Thus, establish it firmly. Third, the three aspects of subsequent practice: training skill, purification, and dispelling obstacles. Training skill means that whatever arises in present awareness, train in the natural state, and from the state of equanimity in the main practice, in the post-meditation state, all external appearances, internal awareness, and habitual experiences, are like dreams, illusions, mirages, reflections of the moon in water, and emanations. At the very moment of appearance, train in the meaning of their nature being unestablished. By this, attachment to the truth of all phenomena is liberated, and even in dreams, one abides in the state of the Dharmakaya, free from clinging. Dispelling obstacles such as sickness and demonic influences: if you examine the magical displays of sickness and demonic influences, you will ascertain that they do not exist in the outer, inner, or intermediate realms. Therefore, thinking that it is fortunate that they have arisen as a means of the path of non-arising, visualize a pore-like hole in the place of sickness and practice extracting the poisonous arrow. For demonic influences, cultivate the mind of enlightenment and the skill of no-self-nature. By this, pacification is certain. If virtuous practice is lax and without progress, then pray intensely to the lama. Generate strong renunciation and weariness in your being. Accumulate the accumulation of merit, such as the feast gathering. Cultivate loving-kindness, compassion, and the mind of enlightenment. Go to a solitary place such as a charnel ground, an empty valley, or a mountaintop. Visualize the lama on your crown. Jump and run with your body. Recite words with your speech. With your mind, engage in various thoughts of affirmation and negation, happiness and suffering. In an instant, self-liberate and self-merge, and by practicing in this way for many days and nights, extraordinary realization will arise in your being. These are
