By abiding in that state of non-reality, all elaborations are pacified. Empty and clear, self-arisen luminosity dawns from within. Even in dreams, one sees the city of the Gandharvas. Meditating on transformation and so on as before. By freeing oneself from clinging to reality, the bonds of grasping and holding are severed. All habitual tendencies are completely pacified, and liberation is attained. Therefore, meditate on the city of the Gandharvas itself. Through familiarity day and night, one temporarily liberates oneself from self-grasping and accomplishes the qualities of samadhi and so on, And ultimately attains Buddhahood. As it is said in the Lankavatara Sutra: "These three realms are like the city of the Gandharvas, Like a mirage, a collection of water. Knowing it to be false, one does not discriminate." May its nature be like the bow of the lord of white dharma, May its various natures be non-dual and free from elaboration. In the pure, clear, and stainless expanse of space, May all beings spontaneously accomplish everything. Lotus blossoms blooming, petals unfolding, stamens blossoming, Touching the pollen, nectar arises, filling everything. May I see the lake of the gods, with its gently flowing, cooling waters, A place of supreme and manifest joy. From the Great Perfection, Resting in Illusion, the chapter like the city of the Gandharvas, which is the commentary on the seventh Vajra Place. Thus, having shown that the nature of all dharmas is like space and is not different, now it is said that there is nothing to be accomplished as one. Since there is no self or other, it is not reasonable for anything to be one. Therefore, it is said that there is nothing to be accomplished as one. Again, here the Victorious One said that all dharmas are like illusion. Listen as I explain it as it is. All dharmas appear but are not established, like an illusory person. Their essence is not one, but they appear as various terms. However, if analyzed, they are not established as one. Therefore, they possess the nature of appearing images. As it is said in the Intermediate Mother: "Rabjor, all dharmas are not two, because they are not one, like an illusion." The meaning of this is also determined as the three distinctions of ground, path, and fruit. First, explaining the ground: From the state of self-nature, primordially luminous, From ignorance grasping at self, illusions are emanated, The various deluded appearances of samsara are like illusions. Appearing without existence, one experiences various joys and sorrows. In the self-nature of primordial luminosity, like space, The habitual tendencies of grasping, like clouds, suddenly arise.
