Like the Tathagata, the collection of such qualities is immeasurable and boundless. The meaning is summarized as: Furthermore, qualities. Such a lama, the glorious Lord of Dharma, Wherever he resides, is no different from all the Buddhas. Seeing, hearing, remembering, and touching reverse samsara, Great activities, a heavy burden, are immeasurable. Like the earth, he is the support of all beings. Just as when the Buddha appears in the world, all seeing, hearing, and remembering lead to virtue, so does that lama guide, so the manner of his activities is the same, so there is no difference, He is also an emanation of the Victorious Ones, so it is said there is no difference. As it says in the Drum Sound Sutra: Do not grieve, Ananda! Do not lament, Ananda! I, in the time of the future, Will emanate as a virtuous friend, To accomplish the benefit of you and others. And as it says in the Vajra Mirror Tantra: Vajrasattva, the lord of the mandala, The lama is no different from all the Buddhas. So it is. Like the earth, he works tirelessly for the benefit of others, Although he sees the peace and happiness of his own benefit, he does not seek it, For the sake of others, he willingly takes on great suffering. As it says in the Encouragement to Increase Intention: Whoever here strives to accomplish the benefit of others, That is the splendor of this, that is happiness, the ability of a great man is supreme. The sun rides a great horse and travels, illuminating everything, The earth does not tire of burdens, supporting the world, Without any self-interest, such is the nature of the great ones, They are single-mindedly devoted to the benefit and happiness of the world. The world is obscured by the fog of ignorance, beings are confused, Seeing beings helplessly falling into the fire of suffering, Like a fire blazing on their heads, they are quick to worry and strive, Here, those are great men, and they are also wise. For the sake of others, even in the Avici hell filled with flames, They enter with great joy, like the coolness of snow and moonlight. For the sake of their own benefit, the lotus opens and remains alone, Even the ocean makes them suffer greatly, like a collection of flames. The wise ones who are determined to benefit others, Even in a forest of razor leaves, they live in ease, For a moment, associating with a goddess, They will not enjoy happiness in a garden of delight.
