Therefore, the Resultant Vehicle considers the elimination of the two obscurations of the body to be acknowledged through external conditions. The means are based on the path of immeasurable compassion, which is essentially one, namely emptiness with great compassion. Both cause and effect are practiced in harmony. Thus, in most of the Nominalist Vehicle, the two accumulations are considered the cause of arising the two bodies. As the Sixty Stanzas of Reasoning states: By this merit, may all beings, accumulate the two accumulations of merit and wisdom, and may the two supreme attainments arising from merit and wisdom be attained. Furthermore, as the Secret Mantra states: In order to eliminate the two obscurations of the body, one wishes to practice with the two accumulations, skillful means, and profound wisdom, so acknowledging the method of external conditions is the same, in order to accomplish the essence of emptiness and compassion. The meaning of such meditation is summarized as follows: Thus, moreover, the principle of the seed of beginningless virtue, uncreated and inherently existing, is stated in the sutras. It and the three bodies are inherently possessed, but are obscured by sudden, adventitious obscurations, and the desire to eliminate these obscurations is the same in mantra. In short, the sutras, tantras, and paths are all one, and the wise and accomplished ones explain them internally and externally. Therefore, follow in the footsteps of the noble bodhisattvas and strive to cultivate the four immeasurables. Thus, in the final teachings, the realm of self-nature is pure, inherently possessing qualities, and when the path is practiced, it appears as if qualities arise, as is acknowledged. In the mantras, it is said that the mandala of self-nature exists within all beings, which will be explained below, and the two are inseparable, therefore they are one basis. The path is also one in the two accumulations of skillful means and wisdom. The result is also one in body and wisdom, therefore the great masters of the past, such as Padmasambhava, explained them internally and externally. Therefore, one should strive to cultivate the four immeasurables. The dedication of merit at the time of the tenth general meaning is as follows: Now, dedicating the merit for the benefit of sentient beings. Thus, by the well-spoken, peaceful nature, may the defilements of the minds of all beings be completely pacified, and may those who have gone astray into wrong paths and inferior paths, and whose minds are weary, find rest today. As it is said, by the power of the well-spoken Dharma, like the rising of a collection of immaculate rays of light like the autumn moon, may those beings who have entered the paths of the Hearers and Solitary Buddhas, and others who have entered the paths of non-Buddhists

And, may those who are weary from entering the incomplete path, and those who are weary from entering the great path of samsara, have the defilements of their minds completely pacified, and in that wonderful forest of liberation, where the pond of qualities is covered with a garden adorned with flowers, may they find rest. Just as the full autumn moon adorns the sky, possessing a complete and clear mandala, opening the lotuses of hundreds of faiths, may it illuminate all beings. The pure mind, like Mount Sumeru, surrounded by waves of benefit and happiness, possessing the four immeasurables, with the four directions adorned by the four continents, the circle of virtuous deeds beautifying the world, becoming the basis of sustenance for all beings without exception. In the peaceful clouds playing in the three realms, wonderful virtuous deeds fall like rain, lightning flashes, and the thunder of the four immeasurables resounds pleasantly, may it bring benefit and happiness to the end of the future. The commentary on the seventh chapter, the Four Immeasurables, from the Great Perfection Mind at Rest is complete. From "The Legacy of the Ancestors," the collected works of Longchen Rabjam (20), the Great Perfection Mind at Rest Commentary, The Great Chariot, Volume One.
