May you enter the warm and comforting hot springs! Having obtained the great pleasures of the heavenly realms and the joy of Brahma free from attachment, may you once again become firewood for the flames of the Avici hell, constantly enduring suffering! Having obtained the bodies of the sun and moon, your own light illuminates the entire world, but you fall again into the abyss of darkness, unable to see even when you stretch out your arms. Thus, you will err, may those with merit, kindle the light of the three lamps! Enter into the boundless darkness where the sun and moon cannot shine! Thus it is said. Therefore, the desire realm, the form realm, and the formless realm are the three cities of appearance, semi-appearance, and non-appearance. Because they are coarse, clear, and non-apparent, do not be attached to these slight pleasures, strive to attain unsurpassed enlightenment! Thus it is advised. Furthermore, one must diligently strive to accumulate merit without delay. As it is said in the same text: If your head or clothes suddenly catch fire, you should abandon even the thought of extinguishing them, and strive to be free from rebirth, there is nothing more important than this. Thus it is said. Secondly, to explain in detail the various aspects of the general meaning, there are three: the basis of confusion, the manner of confusion, and the divisions of confusion. The basis of confusion is further divided into two: first, the three realms are shown to be the support of confusion. That is to say, the basis of all suffering is the inner three realms. The three of body, speech, and mind, namely the desire realm, the form realm, and the formless realm, are the cities of appearance, semi-appearance, and non-appearance. Afflicted by the three of suffering, change, and action. The arising of mind, intellect, and consciousness causes the confusion of pleasure and pain towards objects, and the cycle of samsara never ceases. Among these, the body is the collection of coarse matter, therefore it is the city of appearance; speech is like an echo, appearing even though it does not exist, therefore it is the city of semi-appearance; mind has no appearance of the five senses, therefore it is an extremely non-existent thing, it is the city of non-appearance. Therefore, they are named the desire realm, the form realm, and the formless realm. From where is this known? From the Gongdü Sutra: The coarse body is the desire realm, subtle speech is the form realm, and the extremely subtle mind is the formless realm. In these three cities, there is one called the Holy Child Appearance.

Thus, it is explained as self-originated wisdom. Likewise, the suffering of the three pains on the three doors arises due to universal conceptualization, and one is deluded and experiences from one to another. How does it arise? The six consciousnesses arise in the respective doors of the six faculties for the objects of the six aggregates, and one clings to the continuum of knowing any of the three, pleasure, pain, and neutrality. Among them, the part that appears as the respective aspects of form and so on is consciousness. Initially, the coarse general aspect appears, and awareness is mind. Discriminating its distinctions and continuously generating any of the three, attachment, hatred, and ignorance, the mental factor is called "intellect" in this context. As it is said in the Bodhisattva-bhumi: "Among them, the appearance of an object is consciousness. The initial conceptualization is mind. Afterwards, discriminating its distinctions is a mental factor, namely intellect. These three are co-existent, abiding in the nature of universal activity." Since there is mind, the mental factors also co-exist following it, existing as friends in the universal activity of mind. For the mental factors, mind also universally relates, therefore they co-exist and also abide as friends in the universal activity of mental factors. When measuring an object with awareness, the part that initially focuses on the general or essence is called mind, and then the part that measures the specific parts is called mental factors, although the terms are different, in reality there is nothing other than awareness and discrimination of the object. As it is said in the Ratnavali: "Who will see the mind? This is only a nominal expression. Without mental factors, mind does not arise. One does not want meaningless co-existence." Thus. In the Tathagata-bhumi and at the time of non-conceptualizing reality, even if the appearing objects are measured by awareness, it is not called mind, intellect, or consciousness, because there is no grasping of the object as a duality of grasper and grasped. As it is said in the Vajra Praise of Mind: "Beings conceptualize with mind, intellect, and consciousness, due to the habit of grasper and grasped. Because there is no non-conceptual wisdom, the wisdom that sees the meaning is the supreme wisdom." And as it is said in the Konchok Tsekpa: "Also separated from mind, intellect, and consciousness, is the state of samadhi.
