Even without errors, the difference between knowing and not knowing during practice can lead to errors. Therefore, pointing out the places where errors are cut off, among the three aspects of view, meditation, and action: In terms of view, if emptiness is seen as nothingness, it falls into nihilism. If nothingness is meditated on obsessively, it falls into the formless realm. If attachment arises towards the light of appearances, it falls into eternalism. If clarity is meditated on as extinction, it falls into the four concentrations of the form realm. If emptiness and form are grasped as real entities of purification and liberation, it creates subject and object. If one meditates in this state, it falls into desire. As stated in the Ornament of Jewels: "In the constant yoga of view, there are three kinds of errors. If one views emptiness as such, one falls into the four formless realms. If one views it as a real entity, one falls into the seventeen realms of the form realm and becomes dull. If one views the appearance of a continuous stream as eternal, and becomes bound by great attachment, one falls into the six realms of existence." Therefore, without clinging or attachment to the light of appearances, errors are naturally cut off. Regarding errors in meditation, if one falls into mindless blankness, one falls into one-pointed shamatha. Therefore, it is crucial to recognize the naked awareness of rigpa. If one separates and meditates on distinct and clear appearances, one falls into clinging and partiality. Therefore, one must be free from the grip of clinging. If one meditates on emptiness by suppressing arising sensations, one falls into infinite emptiness. Therefore, do not suppress appearances; it is crucial to recognize that whatever arises directly vanishes without following after the past. Again, as stated in the Ornament of Jewels: "In the constant yoga of meditation, there are three kinds of errors. If one meditates on equanimity and selflessness, one becomes dull and falls into darkness. If one meditates on the syllables of samadhi, one falls into the realms of samsara due to attachment. If one meditates on non-conceptual emptiness, one falls into infinite attachment." Regarding action, if one acts according to whatever appears without having liberated the basis of non-attachment, one becomes like a madman and falls into the realm of asuras. Therefore, it is crucial that appearances directly liberate. If one clings to words and acts accordingly, one falls into the view of the aggregates. Therefore, it is crucial not to be bound by the views and philosophies of view and meditation. Although there is no conceptual grasping of names and meanings regarding appearances, like a child, if one comes to act with them as objects of attachment, one falls into the unstated ignorance. Therefore, recognize one's own nature through the realization that appearances and awareness are self-liberated.

Cherish! In the "Ornament of Jewels Arrangement" it says: For the continuous yoga practice, there are three kinds of deviations. Like this, for all appearing phenomena, if one acts like a madman, one will fall into the Asura realm. If one uses meaningless rigid words, one will fall into the view of the perishable collection. For all the appearances of the six senses, if one acts like a child, one will fall into the state of being unmentioned. So it is said. In general, those with inferior intelligence and those attached to skills have deviations, but for the Lugu lineage, those who do not bind the box of hope and fear, those skilled ones who continuously produce results have no deviations. Again, in that same text it says: The cause of deviation is inconceivable, but there is no great deviation in that. There is no deviation in the Lugu lineage, it appears as a deviation in the lineage of the path, but in reality there is not even one deviation. Saying that it is established as cause and effect is also said for the sake of cutting off deviations. So it is said. These are also important points, so one should know them. The third meaning is, how do the four appearances arise after practicing in that way? There are four. In the "Cataphatic" it says: From that, four appearances will arise, by the appearance of the direct perception of the nature of reality, it transcends the words of mental discrimination. By the appearance of the experience of increasing above, it makes the appearance of delusion disappear. By the appearance of the perfection of awareness, it transcends the appearance of the path of realizing the three bodies. By the appearance of the exhaustion of the nature of reality, it cuts off the continuity of the three realms of samsara. So it is said. First, the appearance of the direct perception of the nature of reality, Dharma is the nature, ultimate reality is the essence of awareness, nature is the suchness without change or modification. Direct perception is self-radiance, visible to the senses. Perception is the clear manifestation outwards from the three key points of the door, object, and wind. Appearance is the development of space-awareness, even up to the appearance of the three-linked bindu. These are also said in the "Cataphatic": The appearance of the direct perception of the nature of reality, definitely emerges from the door of the senses, and is clear in the cloudless sky. So it is said. For the appearance of increasing experience, there are two types: the essence briefly indicated and the nature explained in detail. First, experience refers to two types: cognitive experience and appearance experience. Cognitive experience refers to the experience of joyful bliss, the increase and decrease of bliss-clarity-non-conceptuality, and the experience of the ultimate state of knowledge, like a firefly, like a cloud, like mist, like smoke.
