From the Buddha, it is not located elsewhere. Thus it is said. For the fortunate one who attains direct realization, the three realms of samsara have no name, and the three existences are cut off. Thus it is said. The difference in the appearance of light is that in Trekchö, illusory appearances do not appear, and the consciousness that grasps illusory appearances becomes illusory consciousness, so in reality it does not go beyond grasping and being grasped. That is: From the division of such appearances, the two, grasping and being grasped, arise. What is grasped is the object, and what grasps is the mind. The union of object and mind is the three poisons. Thus it is said. Here, because the wisdom of awareness purifies the elements, illusory appearances do not appear, but are surpassed by the appearance of self-light. That is: From the part where the elements are purified, there is no effort and the words are complete, like the sun, the self-nature is without obscuration. Thus it is said. Furthermore, since the ground awareness has self-light, self-appearance appears as the light of the path. By making this the path, from the fruition of the complete enjoyment body, one is liberated from the primordially pure Dharma body and does not regress. That is: This is the essential point of completion on the ground, the uncorrected self-nature appears manifestly, the path is connected by the lamp, and appears as direct realization itself. The fruition has no place to revert, it transcends desire and hope, self-appearance is completely pure from the beginning, and all conceptual thoughts are exhausted. Thus it is said. The difference in the increase of experiences is that in Trekchö, only the cutting realm of consciousness becomes stable, there is no inner experience of samadhi, as well as eyes and clairvoyance, and outer experiences of light and body, etc. Here, special experiences appear from higher to higher, as it is said in Thögal: The experience of consciousness is the exhaustion of appearances, increasing like the waxing moon, each appearance has an experience, from warmth and signs, the union of the two truths, the extremes of conceptualization are exhausted. Thus it is said. Regarding the experience of the appearance of clear light, some with little merit perversely think that it is like a painting in a temple, which is abandoning the true Dharma and is destined to never be liberated from the Avici hell. The Buddha's body and the appearance of wisdom are illusions, what are your evil thoughts and illusions? The appearance of clear light is too extreme, it is the secret word of the demon. Those who print these Dharma texts are to be condemned. This is the true appearance of wisdom.

Merely seeing it cuts off the birth gate of the six realms. When practicing, the illusions of the five senses cease ༼༡༽. This is the application of the extraordinary transformation of the five senses. In the common treatise, the great vehicle Ornament of the Sutras, it is also said: 'Mind, grasping, and various discriminations.' 'Because of transformation, there is no discrimination.' 'From pure lands and wisdom, the senses abide in four ways.' This is similar to what was said above. This is the increasing appearance of extraordinary wisdom. In the Vajra Cutter it says: 'The way it appears is not an illusion, but the nature of pure causes and conditions.' 'Existence and non-existence are self-purified, and the attachment to the objects of the five senses is purified.' 'The grossness of the elements is purified, and the increasing appearance of pure wisdom is shown.' 'That is the nature of exhaustion.' Thus it is said. Furthermore, without relying on the words of the mind and intellect and wisdom, but seeing through the senses, the senses have no sharpness or dullness, actions have no good or bad, and the three bodies appear as the path and are transcendent. In the Vajra Cutter it says: 'The meaning is the nature of reality manifest, not through wisdom, but merely observing the realm of the senses.' 'Words cannot determine it, for those who see the three key points, the three words become the key points.' 'The senses have no sharpness or dullness, because seeing the nature of reality is pure.' 'Actions have no good or bad, because the emptiness of reality is impartial.' 'Both good and evil are completely eliminated.' 'Because self-awareness is not seen manifest, it is not liberated by the desire of the nine stages.' 'Because the exhaustion of reality is ultimately complete, it is the appearance of the path of the three bodies.' Thus it is said. Second, explaining the special Tögal, there are three: the general classification of instructions, the preliminaries, and the actual essential instructions. First, according to this system of Great Perfection, there are three ways of establishing the instructions: establishing them in the way of guidance, establishing them in the way of introduction, and establishing them in the way of refuting and thoroughly examining the guest. First, any one of the three preliminaries goes before, then the main practice is introduced, and then it is made believable with reliable Dharma. For those with elaboration who like worldly warmth signs, first practice the sounds and meanings of the four elements that lead the three bodies, and then introduce the main practice. For diligent practitioners who like asceticism.
