In the scripture of "Perfected Qualities," it says, "Liberation is called being free from extremes." Thus it is said. The reason is that the reasoning of knowing one and liberating all is valid, because knowing one to be free from extremes, one is liberated from all appearances and attachments, because there is no clinging to any dependence. The way of liberation is: not abiding in the extreme of existence, one is liberated from the extreme of non-existence; not abiding in the extreme of non-existence, one is liberated from the extreme of existence; not abiding in both existence and non-existence, one is liberated from both; not being both, one is liberated from not being both. Fifth, relying on the key point of the uniqueness of one liberation, without omitting the dependence on skillful means and wisdom, it is shown that: one is the great perfection, the single bindu, the very nature of being free from elaboration. Because one is liberated in that state, all the limits of numerous numbers are emptied. There are four key points of the uniqueness of one liberation: the meaning of one liberation, the reason for establishing one liberation, the way of one liberation, and the example. The meaning of one liberation is: that liberation is also not established, there is nothing other than one being liberated in one. Therefore, the nature of awareness is inherently liberated, transcending the words of liberation and non-liberation. There are three reasons for establishing one liberation: reasoning, scripture, and logic, etc. The reason for establishing by reasoning is: all liberations are not different, because there is no other than one, therefore it is called liberation, the only one is awareness itself. That is also not just self-awareness, because there is no separate dharma. The reason for establishing by scripture is: In the "Essence of Gold," it says, "The very nature of the mind of the only liberation, is the same taste of many." Thus it is said. The reason for establishing by logic is: it is established by knowing one and liberating all, because knowing one awareness, all samsara and nirvana are liberated. The way of liberation is: recognizing the nature of reality, therefore all appearances and awareness are liberated. The example is: for example, if one knows the taste of one salt, then one knows the taste of all salt, thus knowing the many as one taste. Thus, the five ways of liberation are not established on one person, but according to the differences of faculties, each is liberated according to what one prefers. Third, by determining the meaning of the example, there are three ways to summarize the meaning: being free from dependence, determining the example, and fully showing the meaning. First, the five ways of liberation, those free from dependence are self-liberation, all conditions are self-liberated by conditions, therefore there is no

Being free from dependence on the Dharma of view, meditation, and conduct; being free from dependence on the duality of grasping and apprehended due to the liberation of objects by objects in the original liberation. Thus, (1)In liberation, since the cause itself is liberated by the cause, it does not depend on the two, samsara and nirvana; in the final liberation, since all dharmas are liberated by dharma, it does not depend on the words of terminology. In the one liberation, since mind itself is liberated by mind itself, it does not depend on the indicative intellect. As it is said in the Garland of Pearls: Since all conditions are liberated by conditions, I do not depend on the object of focus. Since all objects are liberated by objects, I do not depend on the two, grasper and grasped. Since the cause itself is liberated by the cause, I do not depend on the two, samsara and nirvana. Since all dharmas are liberated by dharma, I do not depend on terminological words. Since mind itself is liberated by mind itself, I do not depend on the indicative intellect. So it is. Second, regarding the definite example: Self-liberation, the self-liberation of primordial purity by primordial purity, is like washing away dirt with dirt; original liberation is like destroying poison with poison; instant liberation is like cutting iron with iron; one liberation is like breaking stone with stone; final liberation is like burning wood with fire. As it is said in that very tantra: Just as dirt is washed away with dirt, so purity is liberated by purity. Just as poisons are destroyed by poison, and iron is cut by iron, just as stones are broken by stones, and wood is burned by wood, one's own enemy is done by oneself. It is not liberated by a different kind. So it is. Third, regarding the way of completion of meaning: In original liberation, appearances, the ground, and objects are complete from the beginning; in self-liberation, the basis of confusion, the path, and what is to be known are complete in their own place; in one liberation, the result, causes and conditions, and the nature of phenomena are complete in their own place; in final liberation, samsara and nirvana, tantras and agamas, and time are complete, being free from any limit at once; in instant liberation, instructions, meditation, the result, and the Dharmadhatu are complete in their own face. As it is said in the Garland of Pearls: Therefore, in the awareness that is the ground, since it is self-arisen, appearances are complete. Since it is self-originated, the ground itself is complete. Since it is self-appearing, objects are also complete. Since it is self-liberated, the basis of confusion is complete. Since it is self-pure, all paths are complete. Since it is self-aware, what is to be known is complete. Since it is self-pervading, the result is complete.
