From the Mirror of the Brave Heart: All sentient beings encompassed by life are mostly afflicted by what is called "ignorance." It relies on the physical aggregates and resides between the heart and lungs. Moreover, ignorance does not exist alone; it exists together with what is called "mind," adorned with the collection of all imprints. Within it, what is called "intellect" exists together with conceptual thought. The union of these three is called "ignorance," which is samsara itself. From it arise the five poisons and six emotions such as anger. From these arise sixty thousand afflictions. If one asks from where these arise, in the middle connecting the lungs and heart, there is a vessel called the "red life-vein," about the size of a marrow bone, which extends upwards within it, that is, it extends upwards along the side of the spine. It is connected to the small tip on the left side. Then, it travels riding on the horse of breath. That is, it travels from the mouth and nose. From this arise various actions and afflictions. Second, the detailed explanation of the difficult-to-understand location of wisdom is divided into two: common divisions and the determination of extraordinary great secrets. The first includes: essence, definition. Among the three divisions, the essence of wisdom is the clear light of awareness, the heart essence of the Sugata. As it says in the Thalgyur: "Wisdom is not conceptual thought, its essence is the meaning of self-illuminating heart essence." The definition is that it is the noble knowledge that has always existed, therefore it is wisdom. As it says in the same text: "The definition is the meaning of what has always existed, now knowing it is wisdom." If divided, there are three types of wisdom: the wisdom of the ground, the wisdom of apprehending characteristics, and the wisdom that pervades objects. As it says in the same text: "The divisions are considered to be three." And as it says in the Mutik Trengwa: "Wisdom itself is like this: the wisdom of the pure ground, apprehending characteristics, and pervading objects." That is, the wisdom of the ground has three aspects: essence, nature, and compassion. The wisdom of apprehending characteristics includes the Dharmadhatu, mirror, equality, discriminating awareness, accomplishing activity, and five others. The wisdom that pervades objects includes knowing what is and knowing how much, which has been explained before and will be explained in detail later. Second, determining the location of the extraordinary great secret has eight aspects: essence, basis, location, palace, path, appearance, function, and result. First, wisdo

The essence of the basis previously mentioned is the Tathagatagarbha." "It is so. The support is the skandha of form. The place is the precious citta. The palace is the immeasurable palace of the five lights combined. The path is the four trembling, transparent veins, and especially the path that appears as an object, like a white vein connected from the heart like a rope. The appearance is two lamps: the nature of the lamp of pure realm, appearing like the letter nāda (藏文:ན་རོ་, Devanagari: नाद, Romanization: nāda, Meaning: sound), spreading from blue and filling the sky. The nature of the lamp of the empty thigle, appearing like the colors of a peacock's tail, self-luminous and round, with five circles surrounding it. The function is to liberate samsara and nirvana, and to ripen awareness into form, thereby attaining the ground of primordial dharmata. The result is the ultimate inseparability of realm and wisdom, thereby attaining the result, the Dharmakaya. These are also from Rangshar: Listen, friends." "The suchness of all dharmas should be represented by metaphors. Among them, the intention of the perfectly complete Buddha is that the support relies on the skandha of form. It is like sleeping in a nest. The place is in the heart, like the body of a vase. The path arises from the four veins, like a string of pearls strung together. It coils inside a white conch shell house, like lighting a lamp inside a vase. The door arises from the eyes, and the lamp of the empty thigle is like the colors of a peacock's tail. The lamp of realm-awareness is like the letter nāda (藏文:ན་རོ་, Devanagari: नाद, Romanization: nāda, Meaning: sound). The object is empty space. The time is the emptiness of the bardo." "It is like the mandala of a mirror. The place to go is the precious body, like the path of a cliff. The place of liberation is the appearance of primordial purity, like the body of a vase." From the Vajrasattva Heart Mirror Tantra: "Ah! Listen, all you great expanses." "All sentient beings in the realms of the world have the Tathagatagarbha, like oil pervading sesame seeds. Among them, the support relies on the skandha of form. The place is in the heart, called the intention of Samantabhadra's gau box union, like a rhinoceros gau box joined together.
