The wisdom of the deluded flowing is bound to the grasper and the grasped. As it says in the Uttaratantra: "The cause of delusion is ignorance. The base and consciousness are defiled, the way the grasper and the senses revolve. The condition is the object and the grasped part. The separate distinctions at the end, and the support for not knowing the one. The base is nowhere distinguishable, destroyed without certainty. Consciousness is movement and disappearance, and all that is held to be expanding. Defilement is holding onto impurity, being bound by what is known to one's own continuum. Even for what is not grasped, it is tightly bound by truth." So it is said. Secondly, the aspect of the conditions is explained in detail. That is, seeing what is not there as being there, there are three kinds of ignorance that cause delusion: For the part of the meaning that is not deluded, it is measured by its own ignorance and goes into delusion, which is called the ignorance of the same self-nature as the cause. Not knowing that itself is co-emergent ignorance, which arises in the appearance of both samsara and nirvana. In the appearance of different objects, the arising of individual discrimination and conceptualization is the ignorance of the conceptualized. For such a cause, there are four conditions: The causal condition is that the three ignorances gather together in this way, and delusion arises, just as a person with form and limbs naturally has a body. From this, the objective condition appears in the external world like a mirror, and there is a face in it, just as the face appears in the mirror due to the condition. From the light of the objective object itself shining outward, therefore, the dominant condition is like distinguishing between the mirror, the face, and the self-entity as the face and the mirror. Just as distinguishing between light, awareness, and dharmata, this is called the dominant condition. Thus, the three ignorances of the cause and the three conditions are simultaneous, equivalent to the immediate condition, which is the direct arising of delusion. These are also from the Vajrasattva Heart Mirror Tantra: "All these sentient beings of the three realms are initially deluded into anything from a base that is nothing at all. The nature of that base is emptiness, the nature is luminosity, and great compassion can appear to sentient beings. To this, the grasping consciousness arises from the part of ignorance, moving just a little bit. The ignorant consciousness merely has the thought, 'Did I arise from that, or did that arise from me?' and is deluded just by the arising of consciousness. No
