The six abhijñās are: In that very tantra it is said: When it dawns like that, the son of that lineage will have six abhijñās arise. Therefore, the faculties, the mind being workable, having power over wisdom, the completely pure vision of jñana, seeing the nature of reality without distortion, and seeing the Buddha's wisdom without distortion, the six sets of six abhijñās will arise. If we divide these sequences in detail, first, there are six abhijñās of the faculties. First, the abhijñā of the eye arises. From the pure bubble-like eye, without opening or closing the eyes, one sees things as if passing through a wall. Then, with the purification of the flesh eye, one sees hidden coarse objects within five yojanas, and sees the four continents and Mount Meru as one. With extreme purity, one sees two or three, and with complete purity, one sees ten. Then, with the eye of wisdom, one sees a hundred verses, with purity one has power over a thousand, with extreme purity one sees the meaning of ten thousand or a hundred thousand, and with complete purity one sees the meaning of a billion, a million, and countless things as they are. Then, with the eye of jñana, one sees a hundred Nirmanakaya realms at once, with purity one sees eight hundred thousand realms, with extreme purity one sees ninety million, and with complete purity one sees ninety-one million. Then, with the eye of omniscience, one sees a hundred Sambhogakaya realms at once, with purity one sees five hundred thousand, and with the utmost purity one sees seventy countless billions at once. Then, with the eye of all-knowingness, one sees the inconceivable Dharmakaya realms at once, with purity one sees the inconceivable Sambhogakaya realms at once, and with extreme
