The activity of wind. It arises from beyond the body. Even from the parts of the three that see, the body is clear and pure with light. The wind is like sparks flying. It does not stay in one place, the basis of self-illumination. It appears in the form of two aspects. This severs the connection between body and mind. It is not a reversal of the three realms. So it is said. Moreover, in awareness, the subtle wind, like sparks flying, uses that as the horse of the subtle mind, and serves as the basis for the unceasing appearance of samsara. Awareness itself has the self-radiance of wisdom, so the vision of nirvana is unceasing, and it holds the two appearances. It appears like the two parts of a lasso, holding and being one. It also arises from the part that has the door of spontaneous accomplishment. Fifth, the measure of the self-manifestation of the fruit is called the fruit because it resembles the actual fruit. Like the abundant harvest in autumn, even though the rice has not yet fully matured, it is well stored as rice. Also, when the body dissolves into light, the appearance expands into the pure land, so it is called the fruit of seeing the self-manifestation of the three bodies. Awareness is the awareness of the ground that has become manifest and has entered the path, so it appears as the body. From nearing the exhaustion of the path, the completion of the mandala, etc. The measure is the completion of the mandala of the body. Arriving is appearing without anything transcending it. These are like the appearance of the full moon, and because of the increase and exhaustion of upward movement, they cannot be altered in their own nature. The appearance of the exhaustion of dharmata is like the moon waning from it, the body dissolving into bindus, etc., and definitely appearing in the first ground. In this, there are three: a general statement of the nature of exhaustion, an establishment of the distinction of reason, and a conclusion with attainment. The first is: as the moon wanes and there is nothing in the empty sky, the appearance of the moon seems to wane, but just as it has not increased greatly from the beginning and has not become small, the appearance of awareness has not increased greatly when it increases upward. It has not become small when it is exhausted downward, but it has gone to self-dissolution in radiance, which is just a part of being gathered into clear light, so it is called without increase or decrease. Also, because the external appearance dissolves into space, the appearance, which is a phenomenon, dissolves into dharmata, and dharmata is without thought or expression anywhere, so it is called the exhaustion of dharmata. Relative to the absence of appearance, it is called exhaustion. It is called emptiness. M

It is called. It is a word beyond expression." "This principle is also mentioned in the sutras, such as in the Lankavatara Sutra: 'Like light and lotus, like a rainbow in the sky. These various signs lead the non-Buddhists. The Sravakas and Pratyekabuddhas also fall into their realm. Therefore, one should abandon these. If one can have no appearance, then the Buddha is the lord of gods.'" "Having taken it from the ten directions of the Buddha-fields, and anointed it on his head, it is a sign of true following.' Thus it is said. Among them, some consider empty forms to be illusory appearances, while others consider them to be truly existent. Neither of these is correct, because it is the self-radiance of the essence of the Tathagatagarbha, so it is not an illusion." "(1)". The image of the outward manifestation of luminous awareness is not truly existent. However, because it is the self-radiance of the essence of the heart, the outward appearance must cease. The key is that the luminous awareness must be separated from the moving wind and firmly abide in the inner realm of its essence. Thus, luminous awareness abides like a crystal ball. Initially, like the luminous awareness at the base stage, it is as free as a crystal, abiding in a state of spontaneous accomplishment and clear clarity. However, because of the movement of the wind, the radiance of spontaneous accomplishment manifests outwardly, like the manifestation of five-colored light due to sunlight, and then merges back into the inner realm, like the disappearance of light into the crystal ball without sunlight. Thus, when the luminous awareness is separated from the wind, and the radiance of luminous awareness returns to the realm, firmly abiding in its essence." "Moreover, from the initial luminous awareness of the inner realm, when the wind moves and manifests as extreme (2) radiance, that wind becomes the cause of the outer five elements manifesting as the five objects, so it manifests spontaneously in the body and environment. Inwardly, it becomes the mount of mind and mental factors, so it manifests as the aspects of the eight consciousnesses and fifty-one mental factors, creating the karmic connections of grasping and being grasped. Secretly, the five lights drive the radiance of wisdom, so it becomes the cause of the manifestation of the luminosity of the essence of the base. Therefore, wind is called the agent of action." Thus it is said. Among them, by subduing the key points of body and speech, the wind is purified in its own place, so the part of the outer illusory appearance and the inner illusory conceptual mind and mental factors naturally cease. The secret luminous manifestation increases further, so when all the movements of the wind are purified, the manifestation of luminosity also reaches the exhaustion of dharmata and is liberated into the Dharmakaya of the original purity of the essence.
