Napo Chamdal Lo! The meaning of this chapter is that samsara and nirvana, which arise from the realm (Sanskrit, dhātu, Devanagari, धातु, Romanized Sanskrit, dhātu, element) and its nature, are like dreams, so they are seen in the groundless great equality. The meaning of these is summarized as one, that is, from the state of awareness, no matter what kind of dharmas such as samsara, nirvana, and phenomena appear, they abide in the gate of spontaneous accomplishment, and the appearance of manifestation has never ceased, it is only self-manifestation. However, in reality, nothing is established. This is like no matter what kind of good or bad dreams appear, it is one's own awareness sleeping on the bed, and it has never been different from this. Therefore, there is no limitation or bias, and self-appearance is manifested as unreal. This is: The Great Garuda says: "The mind that has never been biased, to whom does samsara and evil realms appear? Unreal like dreams, like Gandharva cities. False appearance, the power of truth, is not established here." It is said like this. The All-Creating King says: "Because there is no Buddha, there is also no name of sentient beings. Transcending existence, which is only a name." It is said like this. In the Treasury of Dharmadhatu, it is said that the nature of samsara and nirvana that has never moved is explained, which is the explanation of the first chapter. Thus, after establishing the nature of the realm as the basis of manifestation, now I will broadly explain the meaning of the self-arising in the realm and the realm-appearing pure lands. First, the "realm of great bliss" is compared to the sky, that is: The nature of the realm is spontaneously accomplished from the beginning, without inside and outside, it is pervasive and vast. Without boundaries, transcending the upper and lower directions, without the duality of wide and narrow, awareness is as clear as the sky. This is the realm of freedom from clinging to thoughts and elaborations. In the nature of the mind of enlightenment equal to space, in the nature of self-purification from the beginning, there is no inside and outside, no directions, no width and narrowness, no nature, and no dharma that can be grasped. Therefore, the nature of space is slightly used as a metaphor, which is: The All-Creating King says: "The mind is the nature of suchness, in suchness non-duality great bliss, possessing all aspects, but also completely without aspects. Free from elaboration, it abides like the sky, without an object of clinging, it cannot be counted as one." It is said like this. Thus, from the realm of emptiness of awareness, it is said that the self-image of emptiness of samsara and nirvana appears, that is: From the unborn realm, the miracles of birth appear, not fixed in anything, and without limitation in anything.

It is not represented by any characteristic of things that cannot be represented. In the nature that is like the sky, which is vast in all directions, spontaneously accomplished without birth, without beginning or end. From the beginning, awareness is in a state of no birth, and whatever appears, such as birth, is a play of no birth. Transcending limitations and biases, as it says in "Lion's Complete Power": "Complete Great, my Bodhicitta, the nature of awareness, without concept, without anything, yet everything arises." And as it says in "The All-Creating Tantra": "The nature of reality, like the sky, is represented by a simile like the sky. The nature of reality without object, is represented and indicated by no object. What cannot be expressed in words, is expressed in words that cannot be expressed, indicating the essence of the meaning of no object." Thus, the view that spontaneously accomplished transcends coming and going is: The essence of all of samsara and nirvana is Bodhicitta. Unborn, unarisen, uncertain, spontaneously accomplished is, from where it has not come, nor has it gone anywhere. The realm of Bodhicitta without before or after, without coming or going, is universally spread. The essence of awareness, spontaneously accomplished, transcends expression, indicating in the realm of samsara and nirvana, as it says in "The All-Creating Tantra": "The root of all dharmas, Bodhicitta is one. Buddhas, sentient beings, all of existence and the universe, all arise from the essence of Bodhicitta, which is countless if counted. The body, speech, and mind of Buddhas, the body and speech of sentient beings are also, Bodhicitta, inherently free from grasping." Thus. That is, it indicates the great realm of space, without beginning, end, or center, the nature of reality is thus. Equally spread, in the sky-like pure nature, without beginning or end, transcending the realm of before and after. Without birth or death, without the characteristic of things. Without coming or going, free from this indication. Without effort or action, empty of the dharma of action. Without direction or center, the basis of suchness. Without object or interruption, the realm of equality. Thus, awareness is not established anywhere, therefore, it transcends all indications, metaphors, and natures of this and that. Without beginning or end, without birth or death, without coming or going, without effort or action, without limit or center, etc., are expressed in words. As it says in "The Six Realms": "Free from the play of many indications, not born from mantra, original
