Here, the distinction is made in relation to characteristics, and it is considered to transcend the distinction in terms of nature, because it is emptiness. Moreover, that which possesses the realm of the appearance of emptiness is stated in the Commentary on the Awakening Mind: Conventional is explained as emptiness, emptiness alone is conventional, like conditioned and impermanent. If there is no emptiness, it will not arise, because it is certain. Thus it is said. If the distinctions are established as different, then it would be inverted. As it is said in the Sutra Unraveling the Intent: The element of formations and the characteristic of ultimate meaning are of a nature that is free from one and different. Those who think of them as one and different are engaged in improper views. Thus it is said. Fourth, the determination of number is that liberation or non-liberation from elaboration is necessarily contradictory, so the third category of proof and refutation is precluded, so the number is determined as two. In another way, objects are established in relation to the subject, and the subject does not go beyond the two: the ultimately deluded mind and the ultimately non-deluded mind. Among these, the phenomena of samsara are the objects of delusion, and the nature of reality is the object of non-delusion. Therefore, they are established as two according to the mind and enter into it. As it is said: All things are found by true and false vision, and the nature of reality is grasped. The object of true vision is ultimate, and false vision is said to be conventional truth. Thus it is said. Fifth, the etymology is for the conventional. saṃ(藏文,梵文天城体,saṃ,total)vṛtitya(藏文,梵文天城体,vṛtitya,covering)༼༡༽, in which saṃ(藏文,梵文天城体,saṃ,total) is given the suffix mya ka'i, becoming "true," and pṛ(藏文,梵文天城体,pṛ,fill)༼༢༽ is given the suffix a wa ra'i, becoming "covering," so in the two truths, by what or for what, true covering is considered conventional. Thus it is said. satya(藏文,梵文天城体,satya, truth) is truth, which is imputed from merely appearing as true when unexamined. For the ultimate, it is called parama artha satya(藏文,梵文天城体,parama artha satya, supreme truth), in which parama(藏文,梵文天城体,parama, supreme) is supreme, and artha(藏文,梵文天城体,artha, meaning) is meaning, which is the meaning in which the supreme ones enter. satya(藏文,梵文天城体,satya, truth) is truth, which remains unharmed when examined. Sixth, the valid cognition of determination is: the dharmadhatu ultimate, is the subject, should be free from elaboration, because it is not the object of an objective mind. Moreover, it is realized by wisdom in a non-objective way. The subject, all conventional phenomena, is the subject, should be with elaboration, because it is the object of an objective mind. The pervasion exists, because the objective mind and its

because the objects are conventional. Thus, the basis of the ultimate is accomplished by the knowledge of characteristics, and the basis of the conventional is accomplished by the consciousness of the nominalist who holds the characteristics as the basis." "Second, the way to practice after knowing: After generating the mind of enlightenment with the application, in that state of deciding by seeing that all dharmas are not established anywhere, meditate with the mind free from scattering and gathering. As it is said in the 'Entering the Bodhisattva's Way of Life': 'When neither real nor unreal, abides before the mind, then there is no other aspect, perfectly pacified without object.' And as the great teacher Nagarjuna said: 'Whatever mind is beyond and does not abide, from existence and non-existence, those profound objectless, meditate on the meaning of the cause.' Remaining in that state for as long as one can, then dedicating the merit is the way to take the ultimate truth." "The way to take the conventional is that after rising from equipoise, in the subsequent attainment, one accumulates the collection of merit by knowing all dharmas as the eight examples of illusion." "Thus, at the end of accumulating the collections of method and wisdom, knowledge and merit through equipoise and subsequent attainment, one obtains the two sacred bodies, the Dharmakaya and the Rupakaya. As it is said in the 'Precious Garland': 'The Rupakaya of the Buddhas, arises from the collection of merit, the Dharmakaya in brief, the king arises from the collection of wisdom. Therefore, these two collections, are the cause of accomplishing Buddhahood, therefore, in short, merit and wisdom, should always be relied upon.'" Thus, the basis is the Middle Way two truths, the path is the Middle Way two accumulations, and the result is included in the Middle Way two bodies." "Third, the way to cut off the proliferation of consequences. As mentioned earlier, measure that all dharmas are without inherent existence with five reasons. However, it is not like the Svātantrika who refutes the conventional truth and then establishes falsehood, or who refutes the proliferation of the ultimate and then establishes non-proliferation. Rather, wherever there is attachment, it is directly refuted there, but indirectly nothing is established, so it prevents the wrong thoughts of others. Among them, the one who can cut off proliferation is only the consequentialist who speaks of the self-contradiction of the proliferation, such as the Samkhya who asserts that the result already exists in the cause, so when the result arises from itself, it is meaningless for the result to arise from what already exists, so
