Now, since there is no inherent existence, the various appearances are also without inherent existence. The reason why the appearance-dependent phenomena are not established is also considered to be the same. Whatever arises is the mind's appearance as the holder, and the appearance that appears as the object are both seen as different appearances. However, the nature of not being either is inseparable from the self-arisen wisdom. Therefore, the Dharma is "appearance is considered to be the play of mind." That play of mind arises from the mind and appears in the mind. Although it arises from the mind, it is not correct to consider the mind itself as one or different from the play of no inherent existence. That is merely showing that the appearance as an external object is not established as an external object. Everything is not held by the self-arisen wisdom. Although it appears as pure and impure samsara and nirvana, the place of appearance and the one who appears are pure in nature, which is the special characteristic here. Thus, in the category of mind, the expressive tantras with twenty-two hundred thousand verses are said to be condensed into three spaces: the space of the inexpressible nature of reality, the space of the all-encompassing view, and the space of the unattached conduct, residing in six thousand three hundred volumes. Residing is the spreading of establishing the foundation on the ground, the spreading of appearances being liberated in their own place, and the spreading of essence being equal without difference, condensed into three. Fifty nails without error in the nature of reality, five hundred and eleven places for observing objects and mind, two myriads of key points for distinguishing appearances and mind simultaneously, five myriads of repeated practices of transcendent view, and the distinction of one thousand key points for cutting off thoughts in meditation, all of these exist in one thousand and three name-bearing tantras, also residing in holding the aspect of mind, holding the key points of mind, and holding the confidence of mind. Secondly, the essence of the category of space is the self-arisen wisdom, and all the phenomena that arise from its state are primordially liberated, naturally pure, and great. Although there are various appearances, there is no result, and in primordial purity, there is primordial liberation. Therefore, even the play of mind and mind's appearances cannot be established. In the great wisdom that is free from right and wrong, let it appear, let it arise, let it not appear, no matter how pure or impure it is examined, from the moment of the appearance of self-nature, transcending existence and non-existence, right and wrong, primordially liberated, all-encompassing.

Nāpo also thinks this way, judging the various sectarian conceptual attachments as illusory emptiness, and from the time of manifestation arising, like the sky, it is boundless and vast, considering everything to be equal and the Great Perfection. This can be divided into four types: saying that the Black Space (Tibetan: ཀློང་ནག་པོ་) is without cause, saying that the Variegated Space (Tibetan: ཀློང་ཁྲ་བོ་) is diverse, saying that the White Space (Tibetan: ཀློང་དཀར་པོ་) is the mind, and the Boundless Space (Tibetan: ཀློང་རབ་འབྱམས་) is attributed to cause and effect. First, the essence of the Black Space is that self-born wisdom is immutable and spontaneously perfect, transcending causes and conditions, without location, and not dependent on phenomena and dharma-nature. It is divided into three
